Does it have the quality needed What if I use a projector with it?

Communication is carried out over serial port RS232. A video of this wouldn't be appropriate, in my opinion.

The female gender. In case of need, a male adapter can be used.

What is the AC power supply like on this?

There may be a 5V mini-dc adapter in the devices DC power is provided by a USB port, and I believe that the supplied USB cables or AC adapters are needed to use the devices.

The seller had a terrible attitude and was awful to talk to

We used the adapter for our alarm system, but it failed to work, and Willies Computer Software tech support told us it didn't work with the alarm system. Because our contact was after the 15 day window to return the unit, they refused to issue a refund or accept the return. I have no recommendation for this seller. He's a terrible seller with no respect. Don't do it.
