An adapter of this quality feels great in the hand. In my case, I connected to my docking station's DP port through HDMI and connected to my 24" monitor via that port. As I work with 2560x1080 monitors, I am able to see more on them than on standard It has never been a problem with the Mac that connects to it, but the PC that connects to it (I switch back and forth between the two) cannot rethink the extra resolution properly. There is only one HDMI port on the 1080Ti card I have in that system (which I already have attached to the monitor). In addition, I had to connect a VR headset (which also only has one HDMI port). As a result of the adapter, I was able to switch from DisplayPort to an HD monitor without having Standard HD pixels stretched across the larger horizontal resolution. In terms of refresh rate, it is maxed out on the monitor, so the picture is as good as can be. It looks like the construction and build went well. A lot of insulation on the cable is added to keep interference from interfering with the display image (and you know, I have many cables, wires, and electrical devices under my desk).

Everything I could have asked for is done by this adapter. This was a dilemma because I needed to attach a second monitor to a computer that had just one monitor port. The monitor I had to attach is full HD, not 4K, but I plan on upgrading soon, so I chose an adapter that could support higher resolution. As far as I'm concerned, it works just fine for me. A braided cord feels higher quality than lower quality plastic cords, and it feels like it will last for a long time. For the price of around $9, I was satisfied with the durability of the product. I have yet to encounter any issues with the monitor or its build quality after several days of use. The adapter is a high quality, affordable unit that I would highly recommend to anyone looking for an adapter of this quality.

Neither one of my devices didn't have a problem fitting into it. Keeping old equipment relevant is a cost-effective option that is worth the cost if you use it on a regular basis.

The converter is of very high quality. An extremely thick braid of nylon is used as a covering. Neither video quality nor picture quality is affected. With the plug-and-play nature of this device, I use it as a second video output device for my graphics drawing tablet.
