With a Nvidia video card and a Samsung TV, I was not able to get 4k 60hz to work. The only frequency I received was 30 Hz. In contrast, using the same HDMI cable to connect to the HDMI port on the video card I was able to get a 4k resolution of 60Hz. In any case, I was able to use the adapter with another lower resolution display, so I will not be returning it.

Exactly what I needed. I own a VGA Radeon 270X that is only able to display 4k at 30hz via HDMI, but I wanted to use my 4k TV for 60hz. As a result, I decided to convert DP to HDMI using this. I was able to use the display at 4k at 60Hz.
