The PS4 and this adapter should work if your monitor has a DVI input and the HDMI cable connects one end to the PS4 and the other end to the adapter.
In that case you will get the video, but you will need to use a Bluetooth speaker for the sound because the dvi port will only receive hdmi signals for the video. There's nothing complicated about it. Fire stick settings can be accessed by going to the settings menu.
The device you are sending/receiving from will determine what you are able to do. It has been my experience that some Nvidia video cards can give you audio out on DVI ports. For HDMI, the audio is actually digital data that's sent between each frame of the video, so it doesn't need any additional pins or conductors.
There is a good chance that it will Vid cards are not what I use these adapters for. DVI monitors can be used with a hdmi source to connect to them. If I were to get one, I would probably get a DVI-I If you want to use that card instead, then use a HDMI cable.

The picture is of excellent quality, and everything fits together just right. In addition to an old monitor with VGA and DVI inputs, an ancient MAC, and a newer work laptop that runs Windows, I also have an old and newer desktop computer. Because I was working from home abruptly when the shutdown occurred, I had to piece together a shared monitor system from these parts. My other option would have been to switch cables every time I switched from one computer to another and to use my single dual port adapter. I only found expensive video splitter cables that came with adapters that would have worked with both of my computers when I searched for a solution. I purchased this set of two DVI to HDMI adapters because it seemed like a great option for the price. I can share the adapter between both computers and directly connect the DVI to HDMI, leaving one adapter to be used for It is great since I do not have to disconnect both the adapter and my personal cable when I use my work computer and TV and monitor set, since I can bring the spare and the work supplied HDMI cable along. A few ups I encounter when I go to various sites As an added bonus, my personal computer (the MAC) can still be driven by the monitor, but I am using my old VGA cable via the VGA port on my dual monitor This is a device that converts ports. There is nothing pretty about it, but it works and I don't have to plug and unplug anything like before, now I just switch (two clicks) through the input menu of the monitor to change inputs.
In order to use with my Lenovo laptop docking station, I just bought two new Dell monitors. The monitors only had vga and HDMI inputs, and my docking station was only able to accept dvi and vga. I didn't realize these limitations before I set up the monitors. When I tried to do an external screen in the docking station and a primary display in the hdmi port of the laptop itself, only one would show (I don't think it was designed to have dual screens plugged into one laptop and the other into the 2) plug the adapter into the dock and the HDMI cable into the I was able to immediately see the results, and I really love the color! There is only one downside, the tiny metal screws are really hard to turn. There should be a more user-friendly option available It worked perfectly, so I was delighted to find a solution that took little time and cost very little money.
It has a tight profile and is well built. The Blu Ray player in my new Sony VCR needs to be plugged in. I could not connect my "wire box" to my desktop computer with my old HDMI to DVI cable. Image contains a great deal of noise. bought this adapter and a HDMI cable I want it now) = 0 It consists of braided cords). I found out that it was working! Compared to the previous state, there was a vast difference. A snug fit was achieved with the adapter. was able to tighten the screws with my fingers easily because of the knurled edges. Even though it is pointed down and fighting gravity, the HDMI cable stays tight in the adapter. These adapters are great, and it's nice to be able to buy As always, it is good to have a spare and this one is so cheap that I would have paid the same price for another. The item is of high quality and at a very low price. Thank you. As I watch a few new discs on my old TV, I'll be going through some new discs. This is (P. Review was not paid for by me).
The video card came with three ports DVI, HDMI, and Displayport. needed to create a dual monitor display, but my monitors only had HDMI connections, so I had one unused HDMI slot on my video card. This went into a DVI port on the graphics card, and a standard HDMI cable fit perfectly onto it.
As you look at the monitors, you are amazed. When it comes to monitors, I tend to steer clear of VGA monitors. The ones with DVI are the ones I look for instead. Before buying any monitor, I always bring a Raspberry Pi computer and a DVI to HDMI adaptor just so I can test At the thrift store, all sales are final and no returns are allowed. There is no reason not to use this DVI to HDMI adaptor. The problem is. Always keep in mind that DVI is HD, however it does not support audio only HDMI can. There will still be no sound with a DVI to HDMI conversion. You can be as simple as running a separate audio cable or using your computer The average DVI HD monitor I buy at the thrift store costs between $5 and $10. I enjoyed using this DVI to HDMI adaptor, it displays a great picture with It is wonderful that my purchase comes with two adaptors. Please let me know if you have any complaints. There is no problem with the adaptor when the monitor is shown, because the DVI is facing down. There is a slight gap between the back of the monitor and a DVI port if your DVI plug faces out. An issue of relative minor importance.
As far as I can tell, the adapter works well and is exactly
There is one important item to note. On each of the little knurled pins that hold the unit in place, there is no screwdriver slot. It's my fault that I didn't notice this, but it's evident from the photos. My computer has a lot of ports close together, so I had a bit of difficulty installing it. Initially, went through the process of removing everything else from the system, then seated the adapter, then tightened it using a pair of needle-nose pliers. I was still unable to grasp the knurled pins of the adapter with my fingers regardless of the other cables being removed, as they are so small and positioned so close to the adapter's body. While screwdriver slots are not a deal breaker, I would have paid just a little more for them.
The connector in question is terrific. As I mentioned previously, I use a laptop with two monitors. A DVI connection still exists on the monitor, as it is old. There is only a HDMI port on the laptop and it is new. As I said previously, I've been using a cable that contains both an HDMI and a It always fails to last more than 6 months before these cables totally fall apart and when ordering a new cable, I often forget that the monitor isn't HDMI compatible. Thanks to you, now I don't need It will be easy to hook up to my monitor since I'll just buy an HDMI. One important improvement that could be made to this connector would be the addition of Phillips or flathead caps in the fingerscrews so that initial connection of the connector would be simpler.
