The magnetism scored 2 out of 5 points. I would consider this to be more of a magnet mat than a placemat. It is important to note Magnetism, however, is not as effective as it could be. Keeping your screws on the mat won't keep stuff in place on the mat, but it will keep them in place. The mat may seem confusing, but if you hold it vertically any screws on it could slide down, but they would stay on it. It will also mean that the screws will not be in the same location as they were before if the mat is knocked around.
Picky shoppers like me are very hard to find. It made me nervous reading the reviews, and I was very skeptical. As a result, I consider this to be one of the best purchases I have ever made. You can replace the memory in your phone, glass in your phone, etc. yourself with this tool (The great thing is this tool can also be used on cell phones, tablets, computers, etc. ) that worked WONDERS for me. In addition to not having to worry about screws falling, the marker can be used to draw and label. The price is unbeatable for a must-have item!.
You can use this if you need to open up your laptop, or if you need to disassemble any other electronics. A magnet strong enough to hold all screws when held vertically can be used. only thing I would have liked is if the marker had a small bracket, or if there was a magnet on it, so that we could keep it The marker is probably going to become lost with time.
Overall, this is a really useful tool, and it absolutely works as advertised. This is a great product!.
Purchased this to help keep my parts organized, as my iFixIt mat wasn't quite up to the task. Although the IFixIt mat is thicker, it is also more expensive. It has better magnetism but is also thicker, but it is also more expensive. It is a much larger device, and because the magnets on it are good enough for all the small parts and springs, so they will not roll Less than 50% as thick, it's prone to warping, but it's shipped in a flat package so it won't be a big deal. It will be cheaper to buy another one of these than fix it with iFixit.
Since it was my first time doing it and I was doing a fresh install, it took me 6 hours. I worked on a laptop and xbox for two hours. This handy tool makes things a lot easier! On the mat there were enough boxes for every project. I keep it in its plastic packaging for storage which it came in during shipping. One of these is essential if you plan to disassemble anything!.
The thing doesn't seem to be magnetic at all. As for what I expected, it was Trying to tilt the mat even just a little bit will cause things to slide off.
How these compare was the subject of a review I wrote for another I purchased. Stand the mat at a 90-degree angle from a table, and hit it with a screwdriver. It is better for the mat if they stick well.
It is very easy to use, and I have just tried it out on my I love how you can keep up with everything with this simple system. A couple of years ago, we would have liked one of these.
