They are a good, solid tool with good suction. I used them to pull the glass off a 21" iMac to upgrade to SSD, and they did what they were supposed to do. However, after letting the suction cups sit on the screen while I was working on the iMac, one of them let go of the suction (after an hour or more) and I had to reinstall it before I could replace the screen. While it isn't a huge deal, it might be a good idea to be aware of this possibility when working on a heavy screen such as that so you don't try to pick it up and damage it. Ensure the suction cups are in place before you pick up the screen to put it back in. One thing that I had to do extra work to scrub off were some kind of strange coating on the suction cups. I'm not sure what it was, but it left a mark on the screen that I had to scrub off with some effort. In other words, I would recommend washing these suction cups thoroughly with soap and water before use. The seal will likely be improved if the suction cups are thoroughly cleaned before use. It is an old item that I have received. It had become so dried out that I couldn't maintain a suction, even though I had taped over all cracks. It took me a long time and a lot of hand cutting to remove the old screen on my own. As I was not interested in these I returned them for credit. I may have had a completely different experience if I had been sent a brand new set.

There was a sticky rubbery residue ring left on the glass of the cup due to the damage. As a result, the suction cup is useless.
