They're made of plastic.
I'm aware that the screw hole is smaller than the clamp. So, the question is whether the clamp is really 1/4 inch.
I grabbed a medium-sized pen as soon as I saw this question. sized loop and used a heating gun to apply direct heat to it. Between 0 and 100, there was no immediate pliability or burn. For 5 minutes, heat to 200 degrees Fahrenheit. The outer section became moist and pliable after I increased the temperature to 275F. In less than 30 seconds, this occurred. The material began to break down into a liquidous state after prolonged exposure at 325F degrees. **Keep in mind that this is forced, direct heat that is applied to the material within 1/2" of its thickness. Six of these are currently installed in the engine compartment of my vehicle. They've been there for months with no signs of harm. **Keep in mind that these clamps come in a variety of sizes, with each size having a denser material. My experiment was conducted on the "medium" size, which is slightly larger than 1/4".
The ID of the pipe is used to determine its size. br>Since tube is measured on the OD, the answer is yes.

This item is made of plastic. It looked like steel at first. 🙁.
The material is extremely thin. Particularly the section that runs up against the wall. It's far too light. I am responsible for my own needs. Maybe it's fine for something that's light and doesn't have a lot of tension.
However, there is a lead warning label on the package. They're nice, but they're not truly 1/4" so they distort when used, which isn't ideal in a high-end product. Use case for visibility.
This product disappointed me greatly because it is nothing more than a flimsy piece of plastic. I'm not sure what it's supposed to hold, but it's far too weak for me to consider it useful. My money was a waste.
A few months ago, I worked on a cabinet lighting project. I have a few extras that I may use for other home projects. I'd recommend it!.
We used them today to secure the cable for a rear-facing camera on an RV, and they worked perfectly. Some screws would have been nice, but the cable clamps worked perfectly.
These plastic clamps were purchased to be used on my network wiring indoors. So far, they've done a fantastic job.
