Quite easy to configure and has been working perfectly for us since we purchased this to connect our network to an old HP printer without the necessary ports - we needed to interface with our old printer using this unit.
I don't think HP Smart Tank 500 will be supported in the near future.

My frustration led me to leave feedback for the seller indicating that it would not In the process of trying again, my printer spat out a page with an IP address that was out of range for the network I was using. I have to set up my router so that I can connect to my smart home network of over 40 different components including locks, lighting, smart TVs, wireless printers, DVRs, etc, through an arbitrarily selected IP address, so that I can access my home network. We couldn't get in touch with the manufacturer since they don't provide service on weekends or after hours. Then I used a port emulator, connected my laptop to the device, and in its IP scheme I reconfigured my local IP address to make it possible to communicate with the device. I saw a home page and quickly changed the IP to my network and my laptop immediately switched back to normal operation. Then, and only then, did it 192 is assumed to be used by everyone in the manual. It won't even display an error if you don't set up x/16 and, if you don't, the setup program won't even The rest of the process worked smoothly and I was able to make my old but always reliable HP OJ 4575 join my home network in order to print wirelessly. While it is a useful product, it is too complicated to figure out how to use. In my experience, Cisco, Microsoft, Checkpoint, etc. are all well-known brands, so I shouldn't have to go through so much trouble for such a simple device.
The configuration had DHCP options. It would have been perfect if it was the default, but it would have been impossible.
After an arduous configuration, it performs well and is a 5 star. However, the instructions and setup experience are poor and support is limited, bringing my overall rating down to a.

For my home network, I used it with my laser printer to print from anywhere.
Setting it up with a HP color laserjet CM1015 was easy. It took me about 10 minutes to use it. No problems connecting the printer and 4 computers to it. As long as I turned the printer off, to save on power usage, then turned it on again, there was no problem It is definitely worth the effort. I'm wondering now why it has taken me such a long time.
This is an excellent product. It is easy to configure.
