Questions & Answers

Can it be used as a hybrid printer from Roland?

Based on a quick glance at the Roland website, I see that the only hybrid printer is the LEP-V VersaUV This Ethernet parallel print server cannot be used with that printer as it is connected to a computer via Ethernet cable, not via parallel port. If that is the printer you are asking about, then your Ethernet parallel print server will not work. With this print server, an Ethernet cable is used to connect a printer with a parallel port to a network.

Are you able to use this with a Zebra Z4mplus?

It will work as long as there is a parallel port on the printer.

Are Apple computers supported by this application?

Due to the fact that it is a TCP/IP-based interface, along with being driver-independent, you will need to install a local driver (if needed) on your Mac, and just set up the IP address necessary to connect to the print server.

Do these inks work with HP Laserjet 5 printers?

Tested on HP Laser Jet 5, not on HP Laser Jet 6. On a Datamax i class, it is certain it will not work

5/5

In order to connect my old HP Laserjet 4 printer to my home network, I used this Ethernet to parallel port print server.
