HP JetDirect 610n Print Server (J4169A)

This was purchased to be installed in a HP LaserJet 8100 and a HP LaserJet 4200. The function is available in both units (as it is designed to work in both given that HP designed their JetDirect units and printers to work together). It was quick and painless to get them up and running on the network after I bought them used. They still had their original configurations loaded in them, but I only had one complaint they were still loaded with their original configuration when I bought them.

It was easy to install It only takes about a minute to remove two screws from the first I/O plate on the back of the printer, remove the plate, slide this unit into the slot, and hand-tighten the large screws at the end. In the end, I was able to get the card to work by using some trickery. However, it only worked for about a year before it quit working.
