The one I purchased was brand new out of the box, but they also sell used versions. How much it will cost you will depend on where you buy it My preferred method of purchasing new products is to purchase them
This print server does not come with a USB port.

Good packaging was used for this product. operate in the way they were intended to work.
As far as these units are concerned, I have always had good experiences with them, but I had to deduct a star because the customized configuration page no longer works, perhaps because it is based off of an outdated Java version. The telnet process worked enough for me to connect. It was more difficult to use than the webpage.
It has allowed us to connect our dot matrix printers used for billing data quickly, easily, and reliably.
An old HP LaserJet 6p is connected to the jetdirect 300x server so it works great with other Windows 7 computers. Connected to a network very well using an older parallel port - There is only one.
I did not succeed.
I purchased Windows 10 and an old laserjet 5si and it worked great.
The system is working.
Exactly what I needed. With the use of a parallel to serial converter from Black Box, we were able to interface a very old system to a serial printer and it just worked.
