SX stands for "multiple" in English. It has nothing to do with the connection type if the mode fiber cable is less than 550 meters long. The letter LX stands for "single-use." Mode fiber cables will be able to reach a distance of up to ten kilometers. "LC" connectors can be found on either SX or LX connectors. As a result, SX fiber can be terminated with ST, SC, FC, or MT-type connectors. Connectors in the RJ or LC style are available. Simply ensure that the cable type (SX or LX) and termination type (ST, SC, FC, MT-1) are compatible. RJ or LC) corresponds to the fiber you've installed and the fiber cable's termination. This little gem is a SX fiber cable terminated with LC connectors is compatible with GBIC. So, if that's what you've got, these will be perfect.
I'm not familiar with the SG200 series, but it appears to be compatible with the SG300 and SG500. A total of 62 is required. To connect them, we'll use a 5/125 LC to LC Multimode fiber. Thank you for your interest.
They do, but in my experience, they don't work with third-party mini-computers. gbics. They've been detected (and can be seen on the page), but they're not going to turn on. Though, about three years ago, I was experimenting with these. I was able to get these to work with the Cisco-based routers. Branded Linksys gear is fine.

I'm using these to connect two network switches that are about 500 feet apart, and they were easy to set up with no programming required. Check that the cabling, SFP module, and hardware specifications are all in sync.
These modules haven't caused me any problems at all. They say you might have trouble calling Meraki for tech support because it's not a Cisco part, but that'll be taken care of when the time comes. Installed nearly 60 Cisco Meraki APs and had no issues with fiber connections between buildings using these GBICs.
So far, I've used a few of these in a Net Gear GS110 switch and they've performed admirably.
Our internal network's speed has greatly improved as a result of it. (File shares, for example. ) It was really just plug and play in our Cisco switches. Please keep in mind that some managed switches have an ethernet port that corresponds to the fiber port; if both are plugged in, the ethernet port will take precedence, causing all sorts of problems (as it did in my case).
For my part,.
My Ubiquiti EdgeSwitch and EdgeRouter recognized these modules right away. If you plan to use SFP and fiber in your home lab, they are very affordable, and they are easily justified if you plan to use them in your datacenter or business.
These were required to connect two Cisco SG200's in a building-to-building run with fiber. No need for more expensive modules if your switch can use them; they've been working perfectly for a long time.
Finally, a third-party module that actually works with Cisco gear as advertised. Although it is still early in the game, they appear to work flawlessly with both the SG300- and the SG400-based systems. 10P and SG300 are two new additions to the SG300 family of products. 28P. The fact that they cost 1/3 as much as "Cisco" modules is a huge plus!.
