Questions & Answers

Does anyone know if these will work with the unifi 48-inch TV? (with sfp ports) port switches?

Yes. Several of the 5 meter cables are being routed through the CMA on each of my servers to a couple of Unifi 16-port switches. Switches for port aggregation. I've previously used them on the SFP ports of my 48 port 750w switch. I'm using a variety of SFP cables for my Unifi equipment, so it's a different model variation, but I'm pretty sure it'll work for yours. Also, I'd like to add that I'm using a variety of SFP cables for my Unifi equipment. Across the various variations I've used, I've yet to encounter an SFP compatibility issue. Cables for Cisco, Mellanox, and Intel, as well as 10Gtek, Cable Matters, Wiitek, ipolex, QSFPTEK, and Ubiquiti's own SFP transceivers/DACs are all available.
TL; DR: To be honest, Ubiquiti SFP ports appear to work with almost any cable on the market. It ought to work if it fits. You should also be able to return the cable and receive a refund if it does not work for some reason.

Is this compatible with Fortinet's Fortigate firewall?

Fortinet Fortigate does not require any special coding, in our experience. We recommend purchasing a sample to test first, and if it does not work, we will provide you with a 30-day money-back guarantee. returned. It's perfect for Ubiquiti
5/5

My Ubiquiti Unifi Dream Machine Pro and Unifi 24 Port POE Switch work perfectly together. On the UDM-100, I only had to manually set the connection speed. Ubiquiti's side has a bug that restricts the Pro to 1G.

Doesn't Play Nice with Ubiquiti Networks The first cable I bought from Twinax was supposed to be around 1
3/5

It wasn't worth $5 million. It was a lot less time. That cable was returned and replaced with a number two. 5M cable. This cable was the correct length, but we're already off to a bad start. br>br>This cable claims to work with Ubiquiti network switches and other network equipment. I recently installed a TRENDnet 10 Gigabit PCIe SFP Network Adapter and initially assumed that it was the TRENDnet NIC after connecting this cable to it and my 48 port 750W Ubiquiti switch. Because the network connection would drop every few seconds, I suspected it was a faulty driver. My suspicion that it was the cable arose after I double-checked that the NIC was properly installed in the PCIe slot and re-installed it. The SFP cable was inserted and seated. Although the connection had improved, it was still dropping every minute or so. br>br>I finally decided to buy another SFP cable (Macroreer for Ubiquiti 10G SFP DAC 2m Direct Attach Copper Cable Passive (Blue)). I've used this cable brand and type before to connect my UDM Pro to my 48 port switch with no problems, and now that the Macroreer cable is in place, I've had no problems with connections dropping. This cable from Twinax is now being returned to me. With a setup like mine, I would not recommend this cable.

It works fine, but some cables have faulty release tabs
4/5

I set up an enterprise VMware environment at home for certification purposes as well as to keep my skills up to date and my finger on the technology pulse. In order to do so, you'll need a 10Gb network and some cables. I had to buy some because I was furious at myself for throwing out 60 or so of these cables at work two years ago. They were delivered quickly and perform admirably. The only thing to keep in mind is that not all of the pull tabs for releasing the cable are functional. It's common knowledge that you can sometimes release a cable by pushing it in while pulling the tab, but that doesn't work here. You'll need to carefully slide a paperclip into the slot before releasing it. I have to deduct a star solely for that reason.

High quality at a low price
5/5

Normally, in high-speed networking, you don't want to use anything cheap, but 10Gtek's quality has pleasantly surprised me. I'm stacking a pair of Fortinet Fortiswitches on top of two of these. I bought the ones for Cisco and they work fine; I've been using their Gbics in a Ubiquiti POE switch for over a year with no problems. These cables didn't exist ten years ago, when the shortest Cisco cables were 3 meters long and cost $250. They fit in well and don't move when you don't want them to. They also unclick and pull out with ease, without becoming stuck.

Compatible with the NICs I own from Intel and Solarflare
5/5

This DAC cable is well-made and compatible with my Solarflare SFN7122F and Intel X520-based computers. DA2. My Intel X520-based OEM computer Non-standard characters are not accepted by DA2. This cable does not work with the Intel SFP, but it does work with the Intel SFP. When I use iperf3 to test throughput, I get a score of 9. This is my first 10GTek purchase, and I will definitely consider their products in the future. br>br>9Gbps (MTU set to 9000) and I couldn't be happier with the result. br>br>This is my first 10GTek purchase, and I will definitely consider their products in the future.

It works
5/5

This is a SFP to SFP optical patch cable with a data rate of 10 GB/sec. It worked after I connected one end to my Ubiquiti EdgeRouter Infinity and the other to my Ubiquiti EdgeSwitch 48 Lite. I'm at a loss for words.

Quality stout dac cable for the win
5/5

HPE and Ubiquity are two companies that work together. easy! This cable has left a lasting impression on me. It fully specs out full 10gbps full duplex with zero issues or loss when used between HPE Emulex flex cards and a Ubiquity USW48pro poe switch. The sfp housing is very sturdy, with a perfect slide fit and reassuring engagement. It's fine to be disengaged if there's no obligation to do so. The cable jacket, wire comp, and 24gauge make this stout and reassuring with surprising quality, unlike most. I had never heard of this cable manufacturer before, but I am now a firm believer.

This is a nice cable
5/5

Although it appears to be of good quality, I made the mistake of purchasing it thinking it would fit in my 3750 Switch homelab. Even though it was my fault, the seller offered a refund and a discount on the correct cable.
