Product Description

FlyproFiber has been working on fiber optic transceivers for 12 years now. The 10Gbase-T transceivers we produce are of high quality each one is quality tested for 26 steps before being shipped.
With this 10Gb SFP+ to RJ45 Transceiver Ubiquiti, it can be used in fiber switches, routers, NICs, media converters, servers, and other Ubiquiti fiber equipment with 10Gb SFP+
In addition to supporting 10Gb/1000Mbps transfer speeds for a maximum distance of 30m, the FlyProFiber 10G SFP+ to RJ45 Copper Module can also be used to connect RJ45 to CAT6A/CAT7 cable.
The module is fully hot-pluggable simply plug it into a 10G SFP+ port, work, and remove the module after use of the quadrate ring at the end of the 15-pin
A metal box is included with every 10Gbase-T module. There is a 30-day return policy, a 5-year warranty, and lifetime technical support.

Why does it get so hot here? There has been so much heat it is worrying. ?

A network technician reported that all of the 10G Copper SFP adapters run very A few other brands that we also use had a note in their instructions that they need the ambient room temperature to be below 120F for their products, but they did not state what temperature they require for the adaptor itself. When I looked at our server room, I figured it was 68 c If the device is 72 F, then there is no risk to it.

The Microtik CCR1036 and Netgear CM2000 2 both work well with this device
5/5

Cable modem with five gigabits of data. As a result, I will not be writing reviews for Amazon. As soon as I plugged this into the wall, the two were negotiated and I was tickled pink. With my new Netgear CM2000 cable modem, I am getting 5G speeds. In the past, I was unable to get the full *1180Mbps from Comcast over a 1G connection, and I used to have the Arris SB8200, which was supposed to bond two 1G connections, but it never worked when it was bonded. Let's get back to this SFP module. . . I was going to get the Mikrotik module, but it's not just more expensive, but Amazon had this FLYPRO module in stock to ship in the next few days. The delivery will be made the same day. Even though the modem is in the garage, it works well with the router because it is just 100 feet away. It is possible to link at 5Gbps without any problems. It was a risk I was willing to take, and I'm glad I did.

Great

I'm so glad I discovered this. It's no secret that I'm a systems administrator, but I'm also at heart a techie, and I've been pondering upgrading my home lab to 10Gb, but I didn't want to blow our budget. I had already ran Cat6 cable in my home office/lab and didn't want to run fiber just to get 10Gb networking to my servers. My switch already had four 10Gb SFP+ ports and I was able to find some old SFP+ NICs online. As a result, I went searching around on Amazon to find a good copper to SFP+ converter and found Initially I was sceptical since it didn't have many reviews but the ones that were there were mostly positive. I decided to give it a try and I'm glad that I did since I now have 10Gb and don't have to spend extra money on an upgrade. All three devices worked perfectly when I plugged them in! Listed below are the relevant hardware components I. - The Ruba S3500 Switch -- This SFP+ NIC from SolarFlare is compatible with The following products are suitable for 10G SFP+ to RJ45 copper modules.

The quality is excellent and the price is reasonable! To use them with my Mikrotik CSS326 switches, I bought a couple of these transceivers
5/5

Updating the switches to version 2 of the firmware has been completed. There are 12 at the time of writing and they correctly identify the transceiver as Flypro SFP-J A 10GT-sized device Rev A0 of 30M. The devices are warm to the touch under normal conditions, which is to be expected since they operate on 10GBase-L The T transceivers tend to heat up under load, especially if they are With my QNAP QSW, I now have 10Gbps connectivity A 408 switch can be used over 15 meters of Cat 7 copper with no fuss A 20-meter distance. Additionally, the connection speeds were 10Gbps due to the use of The more I need, the more I intend to buy. The Transceivers from Microtik are definitely superior, and I would recommend them as an alternative.

It is ONLY possible to connect USB 2
5/5

0 devices to USB 3. 0. Despite its price, this is the best SFP+ I could find. It looks nice, comes in a neat package, and is well packaged. But I cannot use this module because the application I am using is using the SFP+ WAN2 port of a UXG-based router The PRO must be connected at 2 Mbps to a residential cable modem (Netgear CM2000). This is 5GB. unable to log into my cable modem, meaning the connection between my UXG and cable modem never worked It was not working properly with both PRO and CM2000. It would have been better if I had done more research Only 10g to 10g connections can be made using this SFP+.

The Ubiquiti UF-200 The RJ45 connector A Variant of the 10G I am using Aruba s2500 with great success
5/5

I have an Aruba S2500 switch that recognizes Ubiquiti UF-AC200 even though it does not officially support SFP+ modules The RJ45 connector This device is fine on 10G. It auto-updates when in use. My 30-meter cable reached nearly the edge of the 10 gig link speed, but I was still able to transfer files nearly as fast as the full 10 gig connection speed. The issue does get hot as expected, but not to the extent that it should be a cause of My overall opinion on the paper is very positive.

At this price point, it may be one of the best options
5/5

There is no significant difference in performance or features between these and Wiitek ones, however they run two degrees Celsius cooler, which I think makes a difference. Metrics, including temperature, are reported to the Mikrotik switch I installed them in. Multimode fibers appear as "multimode fibers" in the list. have measured the external case temperature using a calibration thermopair and it is indeed slightly cooler than the Wiitek model. It is not clear why, as they appear to use the same internal components. In addition, I measured the throughput between 2 computers with Aquantia NICs connected via the Mikrotik network. Nine out of ten is what I get. The speed of 5Gbps was achieved without even enabling jumbo packets, which in my opinion is pretty impressive. I am satisfied with the purchase and will be buying more in the future.

The price is too high, but it Due to the fact that I am new to 10Gb, I wasn't certain what I would need to purchase
5/5

With a 50ft run of Cat 7 (flat), this transceiver works perfectly. The CRS305 is a perfect companion to the MikroTik CRS305 My workstation is upstairs in the room where I store my mini datacenter. I have four servers (one downstairs and three upstairs). I just plugged a transceiver into each switch and the cat 7 cable into each switch, and it worked perfectly. It is kind of surprising how much less obtrusive the brand new flat cat 7 cable is than the old round cat 6 cable it replaces, but it offers Due to the cable and two transceivers costing $100, this is an unavoidable expense.

The value of your money is great! Presented in a tin case with a lid that slides out, the kit includes the following
5/5

I plugged in this to my Microtik CRS328-ee. The tin had foam lined inside, and the sfp fit comfortably inside. The 24-hour period I have a Ubiquiti Unifi Dream Machine Pro with a similar sfp transceiver on the other end and a 4S+RM (gotta love that naming scheme lol). The unit does run quite hot in the Mikrotik in comparison to the unit in my UDMP. However, I read that this was standard behavior My home will gradually move to 10Gbe at the end of next year, so I'll purchase again in the future.
