Questions & Answers

Will a usg (unifi security gateway) pro be able to use this?

I'm not sure, but it appears to work in other Ubiquity products, such as their wireless access point switch. They have no reason not to work with the security gateway, in my opinion.

Is this compatible with the Dell X4012?

Yes, it will happen. The 10Gtek for Dell Force10 GP-II is a device that allows you to connect your computer to the internet. SFP2- The Dell X4012 and 1T are a good match.

Is it compatible with the gs752tpv2 from Netgear? Please take note of the full model gs752tp-v2 version. 200nas?

Sorry, but I don't know anything about the Netgear gs752tpv2.

It's simple and effective
5/5

I recently purchased a Ubiquiti 8 port 150 watt PoE switch and needed an extra port for the router's uplink port so that the PoE ports could be used to power WAPs. I received the GBIC from Amazon, removed it from the box, plugged it into my Ubiquiti switch, and it appeared in the controller software as a new port. When I connected it to my router, packets began to flow. It was simple and effective. That is all there is to it. This is the way to go if you have a Ubiquiti switch and need an additional gigabit ethernet port or two. You can buy two of these for $40 and convert an eight port Ubiquiti switch to a ten port switch, which is a better deal than buying a 16 port switch to get ten ports.

All you have to do is plug it in and play, but only at 1G
4/5

I went out and bought a UF-XXXXXXXXXXX RJ45- To use in a US-based network, a 1G SFP module is required. 150W, no problems, plug and play Just keep in mind that this module is limited to 1 Gigabyte (GB). If the device on the other end doesn't support 1G, you won't be able to connect and will be perplexed as to why it isn't working. I didn't even have to reboot; I just plugged it in and it was ready to use right away. It can also be configured using the Unifi management software. br>br>Cables with large "boots" should be avoided at all costs. To get the plug all the way into the socket, I had to cut one off. Also, take note of how the module locks in place when inserted; you must unlatch the gold clip on the front to remove it; otherwise, the switch's socket will be broken.

The SFP Modules are very effective
5/5

2x SFP to RJ45 Copper Module purchased - 1000BASE- T Mini- Using Ubiquiti Networks Networks UniFi Switch 8-GBIC Gigabit Transceiver for Ubiquiti I can connect my Ubiquiti USG and standard non-POE devices to this port 150 Watt POE switch. SFPs are simple to install and plug into a POE switch without wasting two ports that could be used for other POE devices (APs, Cameras, and CloudKey). br>SFPs are simple to install and plug into a POE switch without wasting two ports that could be used for other POE devices (APs, Cameras, and CloudKey). play.

Please keep in mind that the 10/100/1000 SFP will not function in
4/5

Please note that the 10/100/1000 SFP will not work in a Ubiquiti US-based network. Switch to position 150. Because it is only an uplink, it requires the 1000Mbps SFP. Keep in mind that these ports can't be used as extra access points. Aside from that, the SFP's construction is excellent, and I will continue to use them.

Everything went as planned
5/5

it's brilliant The ubiquiti cloned version was what I ordered. on a USW- To get the switch to recognize the Pro (SFP) port, you must manually set it to 1000FDX. You must do the same for the genuine UBNT part as well. On a UDMP, everything just works. This one is the same price as the authentic, but it arrived in less than 24 hours (on a Sunday, no less) and with Amazon's convenience. br>br>According to the USW, it's a Cisco PN SFP- T, but it does the job, so I'm satisfied. Even when no data is being transmitted, the SFP becomes extremely hot; I suppose this is to be expected!.

The Netgear GS724Tv4 works well with 10Gtek AGM734 clone transceivers
5/5

I purchased two 10Gtek AGM734-based 10Gtek AGM734-based 10Gtek AGM734-based 10 compatible transceivers for my Netgear GS724Tv4 switches' SFP ports, and they work perfectly! br>br>With the exception of a post on Netgear's forum (if that can be considered "official"), there is no official information about Netgear's own AGM734 being compatible with the GS724Tv4 (and a variety of other Netgear switches), I was hesitant to buy an AGM734 clone. Was it 10Gtek's fault for not being a faulty AGM734 clone, or mine for trusting that the AGM734 (clone or not) was compatible with the GS724Tv4 if it didn't work? The cost of a Netgear AGM734 is absurd for use, let alone testing, but the cost of a 10Gtek is reasonable; I bought one and it worked! I bought a second one (because the GS724Tv4 has two dedicated SFPs) and it worked as well. 5 hours of continuous high-intensity exercise No problems running duplex 1 Gbps TCP traffic (2 Gbps total, according to GS724Tv4 SNMP reporting and the traffic generator) through both transceivers in a single GS724Tv4 br>br>As a result of this encounter, I've learned: GS724Tv4 and 2. AGM734 transceivers are compatible. Functional clones of 10Gtek transceivers exist.

Update 11/28/2018br>br>Replacement arrived quickly and functioned correctly right out of the box

I'm going to give them a five star rating. Company even refunded return shipping costs for their defective module. br>br>Star for excellent customer service and for standing behind their product. br>br>Company even refunded return shipping costs for their defective module. Original Review: **************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************** br>br>I came in and they worked perfectly. After two months, one of the employees has already quit. I'll have to look into the warranty on these items because everything connected to the single module isn't working properly.

In the Ubiqiti Unifi Switch 8 150 watt POE, it performs admirably
5/5

This was used to connect my Unifi switch to my Unifi USG, allowing all eight ethernet ports to be used by POE devices. There was no need for configuration because it worked right away. It was up and running in seconds after plugging in the SFP port and connecting the RJ45 ethernet cable. After that, I used the 1000Base- To connect the second SFP port on the Unifi Switch 8 150 watt to my Netgear GS724Tv3 24-port switch, I used a SX fiber optic SFP module from the same manufacturer. SFP port on Gigabit Ethernet Smart Managed Pro Switch These are excellent SFP modules at a fraction of the price of the modules recommended by each switch manufacturer.
