Questions & Answers

It is a Mitel 5320e phone with VoIP. Could you tell me why this is ?

Since the power supply for the telephone is not the same one that supplies power over ethernet, this plug will not function with the power supply for the telephone

Do you know if this works with the Hikvision IP cameras?

The answer is yes.

It allows me to extend my ethernet internet line to another device in another room. Can I use this for that purpose?

There is no need to remove the power cord as this is only to add power to devices such as security cameras that require it over Ethernet. If you wish to extend your network over your home electric wires, you might want to consider an Ethernet over power line unit.

Can it be used with an Avaya 9640 SIM card?

The Avaya 9640 sip phone is available if PoE is supported, and data transfer rates range from 10/100Mbps

There is a misunderstanding in the description
3/5

The 802. 11 standard is not in use. There is a POE of 3af. There is no IEEE 802 in this. This is not a 3af device, despite what it says in the description. The score for this is 1 The description of this product is incorrect, which is why the review is one star. Optical networking is needed if you need it. If you're 3af, don't waste your time on it. There is an ICreatin PoE Injector included with the 48v power supply called "iCreatin Wall Plug PoE Injector" .

The 48V injectors used here are 802
5/5

15. 4 POE injectors. This is 3AF. Devices with 48 volts POE work well with them. It cannot be used for 24v devices, you need to use another POE Plug for that, just search the Internet and you will find the right one. It is as simple as that There are two versions of 802 A required requirement of 3AF/AT is that the port must test for power availability BEFORE applying power. As a result, power does not always exist at the port. Passive POE is not an 802. 11p standard. It adheres to 3AA/AT because it allows power to be present at all times at the port. Because I prefer to be safe, I only use 802. 11ac cards for all my mission critical devices, including wireless AP, VoIP phones, and security cameras. I will NEVER use passive POE for my mission critical devices, including wireless AP, VoIP phones, and security cameras. The system must be 3AF/AT compliant, and power must not be passively applied. It is perfect to replace poe injectors right away that can't be replaced overnight or fast ship, and are made by manufacturer POE injection. The models I keep on the shelves are 48v and 24v.

The Ring Stick Up Cam Wired is compatible with this stick up camera
5/5

If you only need to power a single device, but do not want to spend extra money on a hub, this would be a good solution. A review for the two-pack of the same item said it could be used to charge a Ring camera, so I bought it. I have confirmed the review. I was able to power my Ring Stick Up Cam Wired using this cord. Although it was probably overkill, I am using CAT 8 wires and there is no problem transmitting power.

I got the result I was looking for
5/5

Adding a POE webcam to my house was a problem since my house did not yet have POE. It was important to me to have a simple injector like this to be able to use my camera (REOLINK 410). Having an Ethernet cable on one end and a camera on the other side was simple and ideal. I plugged the network cable in, and the camera into the other side. A power injector was installed and the camera 'just did its thing'. This is a great Please take note of one thing. A single injection of POE is all you need. Adding power just makes it more powerful. It is a great deal to be able to get both solutions.

Make sure you have gigabit power over Ethernet
3/5

This does not work for applications such as Ubiquity WiFi access points. Gigabit access points can be purchased on eBay if you already have a WiFi access point. 24-piece Ubiquiti wireless network 12W - 12N The G I have is what I have. Otherwise, you are not going to get much out of.

The POE Desk Phone is fully compatible with this software
5/5

To use with my Fuze VOIP system while I work at home, my employer provided me with a very nice Polycom desk phone. There is no AC adapter included with the phone, but power over Ethernet is included as well. The POE injector I chose is compact and relatively inexpensive, so I decided to use it as is. We are glad to report that everything works perfectly - thanks! Once the phone first started, a few reboots were required, then some updates were downloaded, and it has worked perfectly since day one. Injectors of this quality are hard to find at such a low.

We cannot use it with our Mitel/Astra 6867i or 6863i phones, even though it provides power
4/5

As much as I wanted it to work, it didn't. Besides the good price, it's easy to use, and I was looking for a desk phone to take home with me. We have a Mitel/Aastra 6867i or 6863i phone and it will not work. I do not know what the problem is. Using three different smart phones, I tested it. This might be because passive power differs from active power in some way. There may be active power there, but that might not be the case. A Fluke LinkSprinter sent out a report and came up when I plugged it into the computer, thus I know it takes power and passes network traffic, as well. We may have a specific model of phone that causes this issue.
