Questions & Answers

Mitel 5320e voicephone. I use it all the time. Could you please explain why this is ?

The telephone power supply does not have the capability to receive power over ethernet, which is provided by this plug

Do you know whether this will work with the Hikvision IP ?

The answer is yes.

This can I use to extend my ethernet internet line so that another device in another room can connect to it?

I don't see any reason to use this unit unless you're supplying power to devices over Ethernet such as security cameras that need it. Depending on your home's electric wiring, you might want to extend your network on your electrical wiring with an Ethernet over power line unit.

Are you planning on using this with an Avaya 9640 SIP ?

This model of avaya desk phone has PoE support and a data rate of 10/100Mbps if the device is PoE capable

The 802. 11 standard is not active. Defining points of entry for 3AF. I don't believe this is an 802 protocol. In spite of what it says on the description, it is a 3AF device. rate it 1 out of 5 It is impossible to give the review five stars because the description is incorrect. When you need 802, make sure to enter it. Those of you who are 3AF will not benefit from this. There is a wall plug POE injector from Icreatin that has 48V power supply and an 802. 11b wireless interface. It is a 48 volt POE injector based on 802 standard
5/5

I am 3AF. Using a standard 48v POE device, they work fine. If you want it to power 24v devices, you will have to find another POE plug for that, just search for it on the internet and you'll find it. Simply put, the difference is this The 802 is the standard for Internet communication. In addition, the IEEE 3AF/AT standard requires the port to test for power requirements FOLLOWING application of power. Therefore, power is not always present at the port. Passive POE is not really an IEEE 802. 1af standard. This device is 3Af/AT compliant due to the fact that power can be present at all times at the port. Using passive POE for mission critical devices like VoIP phones or cameras is never a good idea as I prefer to test them before I use them. In fact, for my commercial and industrial applications I only use POE devices that are 802. 11ac. Ensure compliance with 3AF/AT and do not apply power passively. Plugs with this design are the perfect way to replace malfunctioning OEM POE injectors, which cannot be replaced easily over the weekend or quickly, but need to be replaced right away. In addition to 48 V and 24 V models, I store them.

The Ring Stick Up Cam Wired is compatible with this device
5/5

In this case, the handy hub can be used if you only need to power one device and don't want to spend more money on a more expensive one. Reviewers said it was able to power a Ring camera when it was sold as a two-pack of the same item. I purchased it based on that claim. I have confirmed the review. I used it to power my Ring Stick Up Cam Wired without any issues. While it was probably overkill, I'm using CAT 8 cables and it passes power through them without a problem.

Everything went according to plan
5/5

Adding POE to my house and not having POE at all was my reason for adding a POE webcam. To get my camera (REOLINK 410) to work, I needed a simple injector like this. It was simple and perfect. I simply plugged it in, plugged my network cable into one side, and connected my camera to the other side. As soon as the camera received power, it started working. This is a fantastic I do want to point out one thing. This is the second of two that came with it. A single injection is all that is necessary to inject POEs. Adding power does not change anything. In this way, you're given 2 options at a really good.

Make sure your POE is gigabit speed
3/5

It doesn't work with applications such as Ubiquiti WiFi access points. On eBay, buy a gigabit WiFi access point if you have an existing WiFi access point. A 24-foot Ubiquiti network cable Twelve Weeks - The G I have is what I have. If you don't need a gigabit connection, you should get one.

The POE Desk Phone from Polycom is perfect for this use case
5/5

To integrate a VOIP system with a Polycom desk phone to which I have been given by my employer, I use This phone does not come with an AC adapter, but it can be charged with a power over Ethernet cable. So I thought I would give this POE injector a shot since it is small and relatively inexpensive. The program works perfectly and I am very pleased with it Once the phone rebooted a couple of times, received some updates, and began working correctly, it has worked seamlessly ever since. For the price, it is a great value for money.

Despite its power, it will not work with the Mitel 6867i or 6863i phone
4/5

As much as I wanted this to work, it didn't. In addition to the low price and ease of use, I wanted to take a desk phone home with me. I am not sure what the problem is, but our Mitel/Aastra 6867i or 6863i phones are not compatible with the tool. Three different devices were used to test it. My guess is that it is passive power compared to active power. I believe that active power is necessary, but maybe I am wrong. In order to make sure it passes network traffic, I plugged in a Fluke LinkSprinter and that came up and reported. I assume it puts out power and powers network traffic. There may be a problem with our particular smartphone model.
