Product Description

The port is PoE and it has one uplink port, each at 10/100/1000Mbps
The IEEE 802.11c protocol is capable of delivering up to 30W per ethernet port. It is backward-compatible with 3AF).
It can be mounted on the surface or mounted on the wall, and lots of injectors can be put together side-by-side
Includes a grounded AC cord included with the all-in-one design (using an included standard power supply)
Devices that do not support PoE and are low-power can use PD (Power Detection)

Questions & Answers

This can be connected to a PoE switch, right? I have a network camera powered by poe+ and I'm looking for a way to connect it directly to a poe-enabled ?

I think you can do that if I understand you correctly. It applies power only to the pins that connect to the device to be powered. The switch port should function normally, as if it were not connected to a powered device. It would be a good idea to reach out directly to the manufacturer if you have any concerns.

Thank you for your interest in EERO access points. A special PoE adaptor must be installed on the aid of the access point for it to work with a PoE switch or injector. I would like to send my regards to POE

The system just Connect a TP-Link to this power source It is a Link AC1750 access point that I installed in the pantry ceiling of my main floor
5/5

Getting set up was as easy as pie From my basement wireless router, the ethernet was routed to the injector (about a 15ft run), and then I ran a 25ft ethernet cable from the injector up through my floor into the pantry. During the past three days, I've only needed to restart my wireless access point one time A total of 4 months (not sure if PoE is involved I doubt it). I am still running strong. ********
July 2020 Update********
I am still running strong. There have not been any issues since January 2019 when the system was installed. Since I have been running it 24/7 for 18 months, I haven't encountered a single issue.

I'm glad you like it Port injectors at a low price I would also like to mention the second Port injectors aren't difficult to install
5/5

I don't see how you could go wrong with them. The phenomenon has been noted in the past. My job involves work for a major CC company, and one of their requirements was to have 802. 11b access points, so I used this power supply to power on an Ariuba 274 wireless access point. The 3AT can be used as a POE power supply. My device came to life after I successfully connected my device to the USB port. Using an 802. 11 device has been very convenient for me. It has been about 1 year since I was able to use a 3FA device to power a device from a standard desktop switch We have been using it for 2 months and have encountered no I have run into issues where a port injector is plugged into a managed switch (Cisco). Sometimes, the switch doesn't speak the auto-configuration language between the power injector and the switch. It is a negotiation, so you need to set the speed manually. In my case, this was not the case. The gig speed is an added bonus. I give it 5 stars for all of the above reasons. Whenever I find myself in need of this product, I'll purchase again. Possibly they have a multi-use line that I will try It may be possible to use port injectors if there are any I will add my two cents The item is packaged in a standard ESD bag. It looks almost like an ordinary They were here within the time they said they would be. In truth, I bought this because of how it works, and not because of how it looks.

It failed on me one time
3/5

There has been one 'fail' with the product for me, but all in all it seems to be okay. During its service life, it worked for just over two years, but then The old one was replaced with a new one of the same model and I am back to normal operation. I didn't even think about looking for another brand since they're pretty inexpensive. If they become a trend, then maybe I'll think differently in the future.

We will talk about the good, the bad, Here are the good things You get POE+ which provides you with about 25 points
5/5

It is recommended that you use 5 watts to power the equipment. With the power source I was able to power IR lights on a PTZ camera. As the user manual stated, it takes 22 watts, and this POE+ injector worked like a champ. The fact that they can be slid together for a neat appearance is what made me decide to buy two of them to use for two cameras. There are a few bad things They are awesome and I cannot say anything bad I do not know what else to ask for. They work as they should. This is the ugly In addition to the fact that they slide together, they also sit neatly. It is true that if you have two of them, you also need two power cords, but in my view this is not a necessity. To plug in the injectors, I made a cord that had two ends. My opinion is that this drastically improved the visual appeal of the installation. It would be nice if they offered their equipment accessory cords with 2,3,4 ends. That's all I have to say. All of my friends would be pleased with these.

An injector that can be used with any PoE application
5/5

I use this PoE supply with my EnGenius EAP350 wireless access point and it works perfect. I had a couple old PoE supplies laying around that didn't work, either because they throttled the data rate to 100Mbps, or because they were designed for "active PoE" devices (IE. By handshake, you turn the power on). Besides the "one piece" design, another element of this PoE injector is its functionality. Thus, it consists of a single piece (sized like a laptop power supply) connected to a standard AC power source. There are some PoE injectors that have a separate power supply and an additional cable supplying 48 VDC to the injector. Who wants all that A second one of these is on the way for a VoIP phone I just ordered. These will become my standard, since the extra cost over standard-power isn't a deal breaker Not in, not in It is minimal to use gigabit injectors We have the flexibility and potential for growth We are well protected when we take the time to do so.

This product works well and is reasonably priced, but it is unclear exactly what it can do
4/5

It worked as expected, and it followed the standards. An excellent value for your money! PoE began as a hack years ago where people spliced 12 to 68 DC volts on unused wires of the Ethernet cable so that they could run custom applications Applications submitted on an ad hoc basis. Some of these custom injectors were wired by me 15 years ago for roof-mounted applications This can be mounted on a wall There are also projects related to antennas. With classic injectors, a single pair of RJ45 jacks, some spare Cat5 cable, and a few hours of work, you were all set. Although the technology was not yet suited for the general public! As a result, we had to be carefull with the powered end, so as not to accidentally plug it into an unsuspecting NIC and fry it we also could not get Gigabit speeds due to the necessity of I'm now installing surveillance cameras in my home, 15 years after I was installing them in my apartment. We now have a standard of power over Ethernet which is compatible with at least gigabit speeds. It is safe enough so that I would not destroy my laptop's NIC with 48 volts if I accidentally plugged a powered end into it! As an added benefit, all four pairs of cables can be used for data transmission as well, which makes power transmission 10 times more efficient, and data transmission 10 times That's just UGGG! Thank you, but not for me! In my opinion, this device worked out great for my camera (nbsp.
