It supports only 3 computers, but is only available when only one of them is connected to the internet, and the other two must be turned off in order to be used. Rather than a switch, this is useful for network cable connections. Basically, it helps your network cable not to be ripped out due to multiple unplugging attempts.

Unless you're trying to connect a wireless printer to the computer via the network, a computer can be connected via an Ethernet cable to a RJ45 wall jack, and a printer can be connected via a printer cable to the computer

A second laptop could not be plugged in today, so I disconnected it altogether. No longer allows more than one computer to be connected, despite the very purpose of this device being to connect multiple computers together. I don't see how it's possible for you to do this.

I believe this product does not do what it's supposed to. You can only connect to the internet with one In the event that you attach more than on cable, it will just disconnect all but one from the internet.
