It appears that there are a lot of issues with this product and I would like to provide PoE is said to be blocked by some. The one I am currently using is for a PoE security camera installation because, like a dummy, I made my cables about 10 feet too short and realized it only after I had rerouted them During the course of this application, they worked perfectly. I feel that they are a bit thicker than they should be, which gives the impression that they are sturdy. With a wired connection, I was only getting 90/90 at my computer even though I have 300/300 internet. There is an Ethernet cable running from my router in the living room to an Ethernet switch in the kitchen, and from that Ethernet switch there is an Ethernet cable running to an access point in my office, and my laptop is connected through that. I was using an old Ethernet splitter as a coupler to extend the Ethernet cable from the switch to the access point since the Ethernet cable going into it is about four inches too short. With this cable I am able to get 300/300 at my computer, replacing the splitter I had. As well as the speed of WiFi, it has improved from 90/90 to The next item on the agenda is to replace the access point, but I could not be happier with the cable I got.

Having relocated my desk and network switch to the other side of the room, I now have access to both. I didn't want to replace the switch or run a new cable through several walls if the cable ran through several walls to reach the switch Connect the cable to a longer distance. This cable was used in conjunction with another cable to extend the connection to the new switch. I have tested these RJ45 couplers and they The purpose of buying them was to run many short cords outdoors to program a vehicle's anytone radio. A cord can easily become unplugged from a coupler, which I find disappointing. Apart from this, the coupler works to guarantee that packets are never dropped and that the connection has a reasonable standard of latency.

I am only aware of the connectivity since I have not measured the throughput. The fittings are a bit tight or stiff, but they otherwise fit as they should. It's not the sort of thing you expect to connect to or disconnect from that often, so it seems like a good solution.
