I tried trying to use it with an RFD900 radio modem to control UAV ground stations. A problem with unknown packets is reported by GCS. The Mission Planner app and MAVproxy application fail to initiate communication because neither receives the heartbeat. A limited number of options can be found on the web interface. The Raspberry Pi is far more robust for the price, and you can roll your own for a lot less money. If you don't want to waste your Saturday afternoon trying to make this work, you can skip it.

The links I tried did not work at all. experimenting with the ethernet to RS485 conversion specification offered by this program, but it did not work if you weren't using a PC. Moreover, when they worked, it was in a momentary manner and then stopped. Neither their customer service nor their technical support was able to understand why our setup (one as a TCP server and the other as a TCP client) failed. It ended up being returned and I had to purchase another expensive product to accomplish.

The item was delivered by Expedited Mail (not courier) the day before it was expected, which is always a nice surprise. There is only 1 critique and no information in the package as to where to get the documents, manuals etc. Configuration software can be used for setting up the system. Despite the fact that this is not really necessary, it would be nice if a purchaser didn't have to "hunt" for this information if they bought from As long as you buy direct, there won't be any problem, as all that information can be found.

To configure RS-232, log on to the web browser and use a web browser The settings include 232 options. The parameters are I checked 9600,8,N,1 and left everything else as zero The Modbus TCP socket is a socket that supports Modbus The TCP protocol.
