There is a lot of adjustment, which makes it very sturdy and good-looking Nonetheless, I would not say that it is ideal for travel. It is true that it can be disassembled but that does not make it ideal. Eight very small screws require the use of an allen wrench (that is included). If you are willing to make this adjustment each time you install your equipment at a different location, it depends on how often you travel, your personality, and how much you like it. I have just received it, so I can't make any judgments yet. It takes about five minutes to assemble or disassemble an item.

We are very pleased with this laptop riser. It is beautifully made and well constructed. I wasn't going to give it five stars because the angle was so immovable that I returned it when I got I also encountered a similar problem with this one, but I was encouraged by an Amazon representative to "put some oil on it". Using an aluminum spray was the method I used. In spite of that, it was completely unmovable. Over the next few days, I pressed hard on it and was able to make it It would not have felt right to do this had it not been for the customer service rep encouraging me and telling me they'd take it back, no matter what. I think this is finally working. In the event that this was included in the description or previous reviews, I may have felt more comfortable troubleshooting the problem and recognizing that this was something that could occur. As I write this, I want to help anyone who may be going through a similar experience. This is a beautiful thing. The stand works great with my laptop and plugs into my Bluetooth keyboard and mouse so I can type while the laptop is on the stand. And it works just as well with my iPad for when I'm in the kitchen cooking and want to watch videos without worrying about spilling anything on it. The only caution I would give is to be aware of what you may have to do in order to get full functionality out of this device.

This device is great since it can be adjusted so easily for height and angle, and can be turned 360 degrees if necessary. My only issue is that this stand has a ridge on its base plate to keep the laptop from sliding off. And because this ridge is right in the middle, if your laptop is closed, you cannot reach the little indent where your thumb goes to open your laptop lid. For that reason, I deducted a star for the design of this ridge. It would be better if it were divided into two and positioned farther apart so that there would not be any obstruction in the middle of the base plate to prevent opening the laptop lid. The stand is still a good product, however. I hope they update the design because otherwise, it's really great.
It looks great and does what it says it will. Despite the fact that it holds my 16" MacBook Pro, the case is quite sturdy. It is only lacking instructions and a few construction issues that cause problems. In trying to figure out how every part should be assembled after receiving mine, I tried to figure out how to arrange them. There is no indication in the directions of what to do. I attempted to adjust the height once I realized what I had done. As there were no instructions, I had to guess wrong so I had to reassemble the stand myself. Because of this, I had to reattach the lifting support by reassembling the spring inside. It wasn't too bad but it was disappointing how easily it came apart.
It allows me to lift my laptop ergonomically. In spite of being only five feet one inch tall, I still couldn't use it when I lifted my desk to stand. I needed to put two books under it and it worked perfectly for me. When I am seated at my desk, then remove the extra height of the books, it works perfectly. Having the option to adjust the screen's height, incline, and rotation is really convenient for me. My only reason for the 4 stars is that I had to add height when using it with my stand up desk, but otherwise this is an excellent.
My favorite part of this laptop stand is the - I did my best, or at least I tried. My desk looks fabulous with this stand because it is beautiful, sturdy, and easy to use. In any case, I placed my HP Envy 17 on the stand after it was assembled. When I placed the laptop on it, I found that the laptop was higher than the lip on the stand, so the laptop was not stable in place and the lip was unable to prevent my device from sliding or scratching. To be fair, the bottom of my device is not flat in the front, which made the lip of the stand somewhat difficult to grip. I could leave the stand flat so that it and my device would not be at an angle, but my device is still not firmly held or prevented from slipping. It will not keep my laptop in place even with rubber pads, especially when I rotate the stand. If the lip of this stand made a little more sense, it would work perfectly for me. HP Envy owners, just be aware that your laptop will not be safe. Please accept my sincere apologies Lamicall Stand/Riser, I love you You just can't be of any use to me.
It was very well made. I like the stand because it's well designed All items in the description are built and do what they are supposed to. One of my minor complaints is that it sits too high to fit on my desk. Due to how low it sits, I am getting back to using the cheap stand. With regards to the stand itself, it is well constructed and offers a good degree of swivel. There is a pneumatic cylinder, similar to the one found on an office chair, that makes the laptop stand easy to raise. In order to drive it down, you must use a little force. If you use it to support your laptop, there is no need to worry about it collapsing. Although you will need to put them together, you will receive the necessary screws and Allen wrenches. There's no big deal about it. However, it would be helpful if someone was available to balance the stand as you attached the plates, but you can do it on your own.
