Bought this to cool down an ADSL modem/router (Netgear Nighthawk AC1900 ADSL) that was getting overheated and causing lock-ups. Unit is remarkably quiet in operation and has worked very well thus far. It fits well with this modem/router (an enormous footprint, approximately the size of a small laptop 11”). This cooling pad does not seem like it would be able to successfully cool a laptop much, especially not a high-performance model when running at full capacity.
