My own was just checked. Turning off the fans (there's a knob that turns them both off at the same time) appears to be the only way to turn off the LED lights. When you place your laptop on top of the device, the lights beneath it are barely visible. It's not a problem for me.
Two manual spin dials on the back of the cooling pad are used to control fan speed. I usually just run the fan at maximum speed.
On April 22, 2020, I placed an order for it. And the work is fantastic. It has no odor and is primarily made up of metal.
Two rotating switches are included with my KLIM cooling pad.

Suliman and I share the same sentiment. You can find his review by filtering reviews to only 3 stars, and it should be the first one. I marked it as helpful and left a comment. br>======================================================================================= This device does nothing but reduce the speed of your laptop's fan. br>======================================================= Under 60% CPU load or higher than 60% CPU load or higher than 60% CPU load or higher than 60% CPU load or% br> The only difference I noticed was that the min and max distances grew wider (the range from min to max without the pad was 7c and 10c with the pad). I expect temperatures to be lower at idle than they would be without this device because the internal fan will be turned off. The back legs are raised by 2 inches, plus an inch for the device itself, raising the back end of your laptop to 3 inches above flat and 2 inches above the front. I'll be purchasing thermal paste and pads in order to perform a teardown and replacement on my laptop in order to reduce the high temperatures. In the three hours that I've had it, I haven't had any issues with the front supports breaking like others have. If you use the laptop supports, the front fans hang out a little, blowing cool air on my wrists, which isn't necessarily a bad thing. br>===============br>Prosbr>nice lift, good anglebr>quieter than my laptop wasbr>makes my laptop fans run slower, so quieterbr>the Blue LEDs are covered under the laptopbr>legs to keep laptop from sliding offbr>has a passthrough USB portbr>keeps my laptop's fans quieter (said twice, because that is really nice)b br>Contrary to popular belief, LEDs have a number of drawbacks. Giving a review that explains how the device works is a better strategy, and Suliman followed this strategy as well, which is why I gave him a helpful rating on his review. However, I gave this device a one-star rating in terms of gaming features because, with or without this cooler, your laptop will most likely be running at maximum fan speed while gaming. br>============================================================================================================= Personally I did and as as as as as such this device is working for me, if not in the way I wanted (as you can see in my screenshot my temps are just% As a result, I'll be ordering some thermal paste and pads, and then tearing down and replacing the old ones. For my laptop series, reviews show that this process gets a 10-star rating. Overall decreases of 25 degrees in Open Hardware Monitor as a result of this, vs. From a laptop cooler, there was no temperature change and the fan speeds were reduced. When I use this cooler, I'm hoping that by combining the two, I'll be able to turn off the internal cooling fan.
I would not recommend this as a gaming laptop because it produces very little air. In fact, it may cause your laptop to overheat.
First and foremost, I purchased it for my PlayStation 4 Pro rather than a laptop. When I upgraded to a 4K TV and began playing 4K games, I noticed that the system became extremely hot, and the fans inside went into overdrive for a few minutes. It would resemble the sound of a small jet engine. This appears to be standard behavior, but it's alarming to hear. I looked into getting back-mounted fans, but the reviews were poor, and the best advice I could find online was to get a base cooler. br>br>Because the base is larger than the PS4 Pro, it can easily be placed on top of it, which is a significant benefit. And the crowd is deafeningly quiet. Because it plugs into a USB port, it only works when the PS4 is turned on (how you configure the USB ports for when it's in rest mode is up to you, but I never use them with my setup). The lighting adds a nice touch. I chose the blue-light version to match the PS4's colors. In terms of performance, br>br> The PS4 Pro's cooling fan still turns on for 4K games, but it does so less frequently and at a much lower volume, indicating that it is having the desired effect. It doesn't sound like the PS4 is about to take off and fly across my room anymore. Short of a re-release, nothing will be able to fix the PS4 Pro's heating problem with 4K games. The cooling pad is a great addition to help with that, as well as any long gaming sessions, regardless of whether you're playing 4K games or not.
First and foremost, let me state that this cooling fan is ULTRA quiet; there is simply NO noise! I am the type of guy who has approximately 70 tabs open at any given time, streaming various things at the same time, and occasionally plays games on my laptop, which causes it to become extremely hot and shut down. So I bought a cooling fan, and man, this thing didn't let me down! My laptop stays cool the entire time, almost as if it never gets warm (ok, maybe a little warm). I now try not to have too many tabs open at once so that my drives don't have to work as hard and shut down. I really like the red LEDs on the fan, and I really like the rubber pads on the bottom of the feet that keep the fan from sliding around when the laptop is on top of it. This fan also features a flip-up stopper on each side of the front to ensure that your investment does not fall off. One minor gripe I had was the shell's cheap plastic feel, which I understand is why it's ULTRA LIGHT weight, but I think it could have felt more solid! All USB ports are functional, the included USB cable is of good quality, and IT WORKS. I would strongly recommend this fan to others, and at the price, it is an absolute bargain.
This cooling pad allows for MAXIMUM airflow and has two adjustable positions, flat or angled upwardsbr>I love this tray. It has four fans that run silently and help keep the core temperatures on my 17r5 down.
