I haven't noticed it getting too hot, but I do have it plugged into a surge protector. It performs admirably.
My computer is a Toshiba satellite C655-S. It's been almost a decade since it was created. Because the Portage M400 S4031 isn't listed as compatible, I wouldn't recommend it for that model.
Yes, it is possible to have it delivered to a hotel. Thank you very much.
Yes, this charger is compatible with the Toshiba Satellite c55-S1. Thank you for your inquiry about the B5200 laptop.

I went to BestBuy in the hopes of finding an ACER power adapter. Because they are no longer made individually, the price is exorbitant. It's $53 because it comes with a bunch of adapters in case you have any other laptops. WHY DOES IT MATTER? I was only looking for one type. So, yes, I went to Amazon, paid the $12, and received my prime delivery. And I had it in my hands in less than 36 hours. If you ever need a charger, don't go to BestBuy or Walmart because they both had the same $50 deal. br>The seller at BestBuy also discouraged me from buying on AMAZON because you don't know what you're getting into. BUT I took a chance for this small thing, and it was well worth it.
The plug doesn't seem to fit well, and it always appears to be about to fall out of the laptop. When I pick up the laptop, my fingers tingle because it feels like electricity is running through them (possibly due to an incomplete circuit caused by a faulty plug). I'd return it, but the shipping costs would be prohibitive. I'll use it to charge the battery when I'm not using the laptop and then disconnect before I need to pick it up. Iverall is unimpressed.
So far, everything appears to be in order. The plug that plugged into the laptop on my original Toshiba charger was shorted. The old plug came out straight and was prone to failure because the wire was constantly bent; however, I was concerned about the new one because it had a slightly higher amperage rating than the old one. I read somewhere that as long as the voltage stays the same and the amperage stays the same, it should be fine, and I like how the plug is at a right angle. It does not bend as easily as the old one did. It appears to charge a little more quickly than the previous one. It was also a good value. It cost half as much as a Toshiba model.
I had misplaced my original charger and needed a replacement to get my laptop back up and running. This replacement charger worked flawlessly; it's just as good as the original, and it's significantly less expensive. It gets two thumbs up!.
For my laptop, it performs as expected. This charger/power supply is a great replacement for the OEM model. br>Satellite C655 Laptop br> model.
It's a decent unit in general. Although the cords appear to be of good quality, the laptop connector is a little shaky. It fits snugly, but not perfectly. It isn't that it loses connection; it is simply that it is sloppy. When I try to unplug it, it gets stuck in the socket and requires more force than I'm willing to exert to get it out. I'm afraid that continued use will eventually damage the laptop socket, forcing me to disassemble it and replace it with a new one. I'll keep you updated if anything happens.
This charger is incompatible with my Toshiba laptop, as well as any other laptop. The information indicates that it is compatible with my model, but the adapter would not stay in the charging port, and the box became extremely hot even after only being plugged in for a short time. Not a good adapter. I would not recommend this product. I spent a few dollars more and got a PWR one, which is fantastic:).
This was purchased to replace my deteriorating original AC charger laptop adapter for the Toshiba S55-A laptop. Laptop with model number A5279 It works well when your laptop isn't on high performance, i. e. when you're not using it for gaming. Playing video games (e. g. , League of Legends and Microsoft Flight Simulator). br>br>In my case, it appears that the charger frequently cuts off and on once the game starts with the power plugged in (whether the battery is fully charged or not). I'm not sure if this is due to the laptop requiring more power than the charger can provide. The laptop frequently switches power settings as a result of the frequent disruptions, which has an impact on game play. Be cautious. br>br>.
