This was intended to be used in place of a Lenovo power brick. I like how long it is and how well it is connected. I deducted a star because the mickey mouse end doesn't fit as snugly in the socket as the OEM plug, requiring me to double-check that it's actually connected on a regular basis. br>br>4/2/2021 Update: The mickey mouse plug protruding from the power brick bothered me enough that I heated the tip with my propane torch and pressed it against a hard surface to slightly bulge the perimeter. This is not a recommendation; rather, it is a description of my personal experience. Do so at your own risk, and don't set fire to the house.

I wasn't sure what to expect from such a low-cost alternative, but I can confidently say that this is one of the highest-quality alternatives available. I've never purchased cables from Amazon that feel as good as these. The cable's ends are made of a very hard, solid plastic that creates a lot of friction when inserted into the sockets. If I ever need another, I will definitely purchase this.

This was purchased to replace the power supply for our daughter's laptop. It worked reasonably well at first. After a few months of use, it began to have minor issues such as power hiccups; a few months later, she was using her laptop on her bed when the block spontaneously shorted out and sparked. We were able to stop it from catching fire in her bed. br>br>I had double-checked that the power supply was compatible with her laptop and that the voltage and amperage were identical to her old OEM supply, so power consumption was not a factor in the problems she was having.

Replaced a lost cable on an HP laptop and worked perfectly. Laptop fits perfectly and charges without a hitch. This is only the bottom part of the plug that goes into the wall, not the top part that goes into the laptop, as shown. You'll have to buy two parts if you lose the whole thing. This was exactly what I needed after losing the bottom piece during a move.

duty. In fact, it appears to be of higher quality than my HP AC Power Cords. My HP Laptop Power Packs took the power cords in nicely and snugly. Being 6 feet long adds to your overall length. Time will tell how long it lasts. So far, they've fit and functioned perfectly, and they're a great price.

Perfect Length is a term that describes how long a piece of clothing should be It's been about 3 months since I've used this item (the pictures are also from 3 months after I've used it). No issues have been discovered (though please keep in mind that I don't carry this around with me all the time). br>I'm also of the opinion that 6 ft. is the ideal length: not too long to carry around, but not too short to prevent you from reaching the outlet.

The original AC cable for our Dell Inspiron 15 power adapter was chewed through by our dog. To replace it, we ordered this cable, which turns out to be more durable than the original. This cable is a standard AC power cable gauge with a heavier weight. The original appears to have been a three-wire travel cable designed to be lighter. Because this laptop is primarily used at home, we prefer it.
