Overall, I like the final product more than I expected. It seems strong and holds the content I need. However, it is very difficult to understand the instructions. The camera on my phone is very small (thank goodness for the blown-up camera). It proved to be frustrating even then because the order of assembly was unknown, the attachment points were almost impossible to reach, and the assembly with only two hands was awkward. A couple of hours led to the completion of the project.
I plan not to mount the screen on the wall since I don't like that There are several mount features it offers. Initially, the wrap is upside-down, but you can reverse it once you reverse the door. Need to figure out how to get it out.
There is no locking mechanism for the side panels. Using the instructions included in the package, I assembled this by myself in about an hour. You might need to wait for a while.
One of the causes of the delay was that a few of the parts were damaged inside the box that was still strapped and inside the shrink wrap inside the red box. This seems to be the way it came Since the package looked fine, damage was not discovered until the package arrived at the installation site. Despite its crooked construction and the bent bottom of the door, I was able to install it, but it latches in only one direction when loaded. Unfortunately, the side panels (both of which arrived damaged) do not latch into place, or rather the little metal feet that are supposed to hold the side panels in place are completely flat and do not hold them Furthermore, the side panels do not have locks, so if you really need to make sure your equipment is the safest, it may not be a good choice. Unfortunately, the damage nearly cost us the job and I was hoping for replacement rack pieces via warranty, but I was told that I had to take the entire rack out of its installed location and take it apart and ship it back because they can't send you replacement pieces. You could put the whole purchase price plus $100 into a dumpster and call it good.
If you are going to assemble this cabinet, plan on spending about an hour to do so. A good construction job has been done. Easily holds my switches, router, and modem, as well as looking pretty good. This cabinet costs 100 dollars to assemble because everything needs to be put together. Having that in the back of your head will make you all right.
