What I had hoped for turned out well. It appears to be strong and will keep my need in place. However, it is very difficult to understand the instructions. A super tiny camera (thank God for the blow-up of the cell phone camera). It proved to be frustrating even then because the order of assembly was unknown, the attachment points were almost impossible to reach, and the assembly with only two hands was awkward. A couple of hours led to the completion of the project.
I plan not to mount the screen on the wall since I don't like that There are several mount features it offers. Initially, the wrap is upside-down, but you can reverse it once you reverse the door. Need to figure out how to get it out.
There is no locking mechanism for the side panels. Using the instructions included in the package, I assembled this by myself in about an hour. There is a possibility it will take
One of the causes of the delay was that a few of the parts were damaged inside the box that was still strapped and inside the shrink wrap inside the red box. This seems to be the way it came Since the package looked fine, damage was not discovered until the package arrived at the installation site. Despite its crooked construction and the bent bottom of the door, I was able to install it, but it latches in only one direction when loaded. I'm not sure what my problem is, but either the side panels (which both arrived damaged) do not latch into place, or, more accurately, the little feet that hold the side panels in place are completely flat and do not keep them As for the side panels, they do not have locks, so if you need to protect your equipment, do not buy this. We almost lost the job due to the damage, and I was hoping to get replacement pieces via warranty, but was told that I would have to remove it from its installed location, remove the rack from its frame, and ship it back since they weren't able to send replacement pieces. You could put the whole purchase price plus $100 into a dumpster and call it good.
If you are going to assemble this cabinet, plan on spending about an hour to do so. A good construction job has been done. Easily holds my switches, router, and modem, as well as looking pretty good. This cabinet costs 100 dollars to assemble because everything needs to be put together. There will be times when you will have to travel, so prepare for that.
