A mid-sized company might be of interest to me It would continue to perform for at least the next four or five years if it were a $200 tablet. It can be used for web browsing, reading books, and playing cards. Also, I wanted a device with a larger screen, reasonably long battery life, and one that wouldn't be too heavy. This T580 Galaxy Tab A was the best choice I found after some research. A white charger (with no batteries) came with it and in a hard case. The device looked brand new out of its retail box, but it was in a retail box It is hard to tell the difference between products that are on the shelf and those that are not. Her computer has been working without any problems for about two months now after I checked it out and installed all her apps. It is still a minor problem because of screen contact. A case helps mitigate this, but it can still be annoying. The device gets pretty much all of her attention, mostly for reading, looking up recipes, and playing I'm still happy with it, and I'm still happy with her. Please note EDIT2 I have been in this position for about a year. We just had to replace the charger on the tablet, which is fine. The tablet seems to be taking off just fine. For some reason, the connection appeared to be intermittent. Two cables had the same problem as well. I'm not sure what the issue there was, perhaps a usage issue, but I replaced the charger for less than $10 and the problem was solved, so it wasn't bad after There is no change in the rating. I have EDIT3 I've had the tablet for two years and there have been no problems. The server is running as well as it ever has. The purpose of this last update is to provide assurance to those worried about the durability of refurbished equipment -- It's doing just fine for us, at least.

Hooray! Hoop Hoop Hurray! It's been a long time since I've been able to get a tablet. Having used my wife's Fire 10 for a while, I decided I needed one of my own. I read several different reviews and learned that the Samsung Galaxy Tab A scored highly on a variety of websites. Samsung did not have a presence at any of the I cannot compare it to the next best one, since it was my first. The top unit will not be purchased. My friends who own tablets even talked to me about their devices. It is also noteworthy that the Samsung Galaxy rated high, and some reported it to be even better than more expensive units they had, or had It's all made up in my head. When I went to my favorite sites, I found the best deal The unit is refurbished, but it is still a very new one. sale of only new units at the lowest price was even better than the other sites. Since this was something new for me and I had little experience with the touch screen, I had to be patient with the device. The tablet is not doing that, it is me. Again, I was ignorant of tablets and it took a long time to set it up. Now that I have had it for a week, I am more attached to it than I am to my PC, which I have had for a very long time. I like this because I can take it with me when I leave home. In spite of the fact that I have not yet become familiar with the software's full potential, and am still adding/deleting applications, I am still impressed. It is safe to say I would happily purchase another one if I lost this one, from the same folks at Amazon, as a Perhaps I will add more later, after I have it configured just the way I want it to be. Now, I would rate it 5 stars, and am fairly certain I will be satisfied for a long time to come. This is not a robot or I've been paid to say it. The word of my mouth is my bond, and all the business I do is honest. I live an Old School lifestyle, which means that I treat others as I would like to be treated myself.

This tablet is awesome but it shut down when I tried to watch a show, and never came However, it was still loud enough for me to hear. I found it in an on-line article that this is a common problem. You will be out of luck if you don't get a warranty.

I assumed that this tablet had been professionally refurbished based on all these positive reviews. There was nothing to complain about. Everything was spotless & pristine New. It looked like a brand new piece. I was shocked at how much better this tablet looked than what I bought new last year. The compact flash card comprises a class 10 SanDisk microSD card. I don't think this is too bad. The original charger is a 2Amp model. The screen is stunning, and you can't find it on cheaper tablets. What a fantastic tablet! I don't even have to say anything about it. It is clear from the reviews that we provide. It's a great home, especially if you want to choose a refurb rather than a new one. BRIEF UPDATE The amazing piece of electronics has been updated to version 7 just a few weeks after purchase. The nougat version is zero. It's an awesome OS! I would also like to share some very important information with you It is possible to move apps to an external SD card. This frees up the internal memory, which actually increased after the upgrade. There are some apps that can be disabled if you do not want them installed. Make a backup of your data before forcing a stop and then disable it. I find Nougat to be an excellent tool. You just have to wait until the Imovements start. You can switch to "EnglishUK" if Swype is giving you any problems after an update. There should be no difference between keyboard layouts. If you are experiencing issues with voice recognition, you should check for an English The only issues I had with this update were those two. Oh my gosh. The tablet I have is fantastic! Still need to use English (UK) keyboard in order to use Swype. However, I am not certain. I forgot to mention that this tablet has an outrageously long battery life. 90 percent of my apps can be relocated to an external memory device. There goes the memory loss due to bloatware. In order to buy the new, the price went up by I love it! A good deal is one of my favorite things.
