I can't believe my eyes
3/5

I'm surprised I'm giving this device a one-star rating, and you'll be surprised too once you learn why. When you're looking for a new tablet, you're probably considering the screen resolution, processing power, memory, pen responsiveness, and app compatibility.

. But I would have never thought to look into this in a million years: Vibrations on the Galaxy Tab S7 can't be turned off. No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no really. There isn't a way to turn off the vibrations. br>br> Period. br>br>I spent OVER AN HOUR on the phone with customer service. My case was forwarded to a higher level of management. They finally confirmed that the option to turn off vibrations was removed with the most recent update after hours of troubleshooting. Regardless of how expensive this tablet is. br>br> Regardless of what else it is capable of.

. Every time it vibrates, it is a good thing. single. you get a notification at a certain point in time br>br>And there's no way to turn it off. br>br>Your only option is to put the entire device in Silent Mode, but you won't be able to hear any of your notifications. Everything is on the line. Your notifications must also be vibrations if you want to hear them. Vibrations can no longer be turned off in Settings. br>br>If Samsung ever fixes this egregious limitation, I will update this review to a five-star rating. I'd like to believe they didn't remove the ability to turn off vibrations on purpose, but who knows. If you don't mind a tablet that buzzes on your table like an army of angry nanobots every time someone sends you a message, this is the tablet for you. In any case. . . yeah. It makes no difference how impressive the specifications are. You won't be able to stop it from buzzing. br>br>I'm taken aback.

Finally, an Android tablet with plenty of power
5/5

What took such a long time? EDITED. br>br>I'm going to sell my 12" iPad Pro. What's more, the screen is stunning, the pen is fantastic, the design is stunning, the storage is expanded, the 256 version has 8GB of RAM, and the speakers are far superior to the iPad's. br>br>Music, a lot of sketching in Concepts, Reddit, and basic surfing are some of my favorite things to do. br>br>I've been using it for a while and haven't had any major issues with it. If that changes, I'll let you know. br>br>Creative+ paraphrase: a month or so in- Use on a regular basis for writing, watching videos on YouTube, and so forth. It has been wonderful! My only gripe is that some Android apps have yet to catch up to the device's capabilities. Whatever the case may be. The Concepts app, as well as Google Keep and others, are fantastic. I'm still engrossed in it. This tablet is superior to the iPad for writing. The rubber tip on the pen is a significant improvement. The tab is used for 80% drawing and notes by me. I understand that the CPU is slower than that of the iPad Pro, but it is significantly faster in everyday tasks.

With dead space, the artist is dissatisfied
3/5

First and foremost, let me state that I have been a long-time Android supporter. At first, I assumed it was a bug in Clip Studio Paint, an art program. However, this occurred on each and every program. This is my second attempt at buying this tablet (S7, 256GB model), and I had a similar problem with dead space the first time. Clip Studio, Art Rage, Art Flow, Krita, AutoDesk Sketch, and infinite Painter all have the same dead space in the same location. I'm going to return this model and request a full refund. Hopefully, you'll be able to figure out why this has happened twice now. I'm an artist, so I don't need this tablet for anything else. To put it mildly, I'm disappointed. I paid 900 dollars for this.

Android tablets have come a long way, and Samsung continues to outperform the competition
5/5

I've been using Android tablets since Honeycomb, and while it was a mediocre experience back then (2011), things have improved dramatically since then, and Samsung is doing an excellent job of continuing to improve the experience. br>br>With a great screen and a fantastic 4-inch display, this tablet is lively and premium. audio system with speakers I also purchased the Samsung keyboard/touchpad cover, which I would strongly advise anyone to do. Sure, there are less expensive keyboard cases available, but this one is just right and seamlessly integrates. br>br>My main use case is to have something small and light to take to business meetings, where I can connect an HDMI dongle to the conference room TV/projector, turn on DeX, and have a fully functional laptop/desktop mode (as shown in the review photo). When I need to demo some software that is still in development, I use TeamViewer to connect to my primary work computer (which has all of the horsepower but is far too heavy/cumbersome to carry around). If you're using the touchpad built into the Samsung keyboard cover, here's something to keep in mind about TeamViewer: A full press/click (rather than a finger tap) is supported by the touchpad. When remoting to another computer, you must press the full click button to send a left click to the remote computer. However, this came as a pleasant surprise because it means I can now click and drag with ease! br>br>Aside from my specific use, this tablet is fantastic, and I can't think of anything I don't like about it. Everything is in working order, and the sound and screen are both excellent. The S Pen is a nice tool to have, even if I won't use it very often - And, thanks to the Samsung case, it's kept safe and charged at all times.
