Questions & Answers

The IOS 8 version shown here was the same as the previous version. There are only four or eight options. If you are at least 1 you are considered to be The 8 is what I want. 1 out of 4. It is useless to me to use other versions. ?

One of the eight came with the one I bought in December. My phone was running iOS8 at the time, but I do not remember the exact version.

Has this Apple been factory refurbished and how long does it have left on warranty What is the cost of an apple care plan that provides one year of warranty?

When I went to the Apple Support Web Portal and entered the info, it told me that the 64 Gb Gold DVD was covered by 1 year manufacturer's The Apple Care Support team sent me an email with a link so I could purchase Apple Care. The two years are good to go for me.

I apologize for the mistrust, just wanted to make sure it is a genuine product, or maybe they have some fissures and that's why there is a lower price? What would you like to say thanks for?

As someone who bought this product just two weeks ago, I can confirm that it is a genuine Apple product. It is impossible to tell the difference between a refurbished one and a one that comes directly from Apple's I have been extremely happy with my iPad Air 2 and would definitely recommend it to any other customer who is considering purchasing one. I hope this is helpful!

According to the listing, it is only compatible with iOS Can I update the iOS when I'm asked to do so? There is a tendency for this to happen on Apple What are the chances that the updates will ?

It works. Thanks for your help. The one I'm using has 13 installed. No issues found in any of the three.

Whether you succeed or fail is up to you
3/5

The refurbished iPad I formerly purchased had all the attributes of a new one, it had no scratches, no dents, all the buttons worked well. The first iPad I bought for my daughter had a heavy scratch in the screen, so I returned it and just ordered another one for her. It had deep scratches on the back and sticker residue on the front screen, but there were no deep scratches on the back of the second iPad. Whether you succeed or fail is up to you. As I don't have time to be mailing the item back and forth, I will not be mailing an item back and When it comes to iPads, you're rolling the dice. There is certainly no factory refurbished quality, which would likely be of higher quality. These are SELLER refurbished items.

It was a Christmas gift
3/5

I purchased it and received it a few days after I ordered it, but there was a problem. That was a big mistake not to have checked the iPad. In celebration of Christmas, they tried to turn it on, but it did not work. In the past, the iPad wasn't able to hold a charge. It would charge enough for it to turn on, but then turn off because of low battery capacity. It was a pleasure to work with Amazon and they helped me through the return process.

The item has not been refurbished, it is in very good condition! The problem with this one is that there are so many issues! Although used, it did not seem to have been There were heavy scratches on the back side where the power plug was located, and it came with a generic power cord (although it was new)
3/5

It took me a while to wipe down the dirty button on the front! (GROSS)
However, it appears that no one "factory refurbished it" since it was not factory reset and the device was still set to Spanish language. It was in the previous owner's name. 4) It took me some time and searching the internet to figure out how to put it in English so I could reset it to factory settings. Finally, I had to plug it into iTunes to make it work, since it wouldn't be set up as a new device. And lastly, I woke up to little graininess on the screen, and I had to restart afterward to get it back on. This item was returned so that a refund can be made. There was no response from the seller when I wrote it to them. It would be better to purchase elsewhere if I had to buy The experience with this refurbished product was bad. Usually, I don't mind refurbished gear, but this time it was frustrating. This seller would be a pass for me, and if possible, I'd buy new!.

Do not fall for the "Certified Refurbished" trap
3/5

It is not meaningful to order a product that has been certified refurbished on Amazon. Currently, there are no rigorous standards that are expected of the company. A "certified refurbished" iPad should last longer than a 90-day warranty, at least in my experience. It did not in mine. I stopped being able to charge it after the warranty ended, and it is now worthless. A few dollars for a trade is not even adequate I have had it checked by technicians, so I am certain it is In a nice leather case, I was very careful with my iPad. It never got dirty, it was never dropped, it never got wet, it never got exposed to extreme heat. The item looks like it was just bought. In this case, there was a defective product with the potential to explode. It's not the label "certified refurbished" that should lure you in. There are substantial differences between this and the certification given by a manufacturer, which typically has rigorous standards and solid guarantees. If you want to do your own research, you can do so. (My first review was denied for going into too much detail here. Keep these products out of your face.

It is a piece of crap, so do not get it
3/5

Then and now There is an issue with the screen falling apart, and the back of the iPad is not flat, like something was not installed properly within the device. This is not a refurbished or used product it is a broken iPad with a low quality screen replacement from a third party.

iPad is the best device of all time
4/5

If you buy these refurbished homes, make sure you check them out A few weeks ago, I ordered 5 "renewed" iPad Air 2 tablets from Then and now Then and now Apple's iPad Air 2 was one of the best iPad designs and remains one of the best to this day. Then and now Then and now The first iPad Pro 9 was so good, in fact, that Apple had to discontinue it. This year's 7 (2018) is really just a second-generation Air 2, and shares the same thin construction and laminated 9 as last year's. A Retina display with a 12-inch width, and a decent size overall. Then and now There have been seven iOS updates since the Air 2 was first released, and it currently runs the latest iPadOS version. The topic of longevity is discussed in chapter 14. Then and now A total of over 2 million iPad Air 2 models were sold during its two year production phase, which ended early in Then and now You can no longer purchase a new Air 2, so the only option is a used product or one that has been refurbished. Then and now With Apple devices such as the iPad being remarkably durable, buying a refurbished copy of that device is a great way to get a "like new" device that will last you for Then and now This is a great deal, as well At the time of its initial release, the Air 2 ranged between $500 and $700 Seven hundred dollars. Then and now For around $200 to $300, you can buy the same models a few years later The price range is $300 to $450 The best price you can find for a device that is still in its infancy Here's the deal The art.

There are some The availability of vendors of refurbished and reconditioned iPads is plentiful one thing is clear, however Then and now Then and now It covers everything from a nearly-new product to one that has been reconditioned to new standards A condition of mint to laugh at- Devices that have been damaged. Then and now Then and now It is true that some vendors are better than others, but others are worse, There will never be a perfect plan. Then and now This is what I experienced in the last month when shopping Then and now Here is more information on Vendor #1 Then and now Then and now This game is called All Out Apple The seller of the iPad Air 2's I bought from this site also sold a 32gb and a 64gb version. Then and now Then and now Their packaging was safe, they arrived in good condition and they work perfectly. Then and now This is the It is OK to have cosmetic defects One case has a couple of light scratches and discoloration on the back as well as some nicks and a bit of a dent on the back. Then and now Then and now If Amazon's criteria is followed, the issues are less noticeable when held at arm's length. Then and now Then and now I am satisfied with the display and touch screen. Then and now Typical use of each lasts for 8 hours or so with the batteries. There is a decent selection of 2 from the vendor. Each device includes a 4A (12W) USB charger and cable similar to what's found on most computers Charge your iPad at lightning speed with the original iPad charger. This is

[FILTERS UPDATED 3/23/21 Having purchased four iPads from this seller, three 32GB iPads and one 64GB iPad, I am completely satisfied. Then and now Then and now It is an extremely rare event that a 32GB drive comes in near new Then and now Then and now After two weeks of use, I noticed that a portion of the display backlight flickered when set to the lowest brightness setting - the cosmetic defects were minimal. Backlight LEDs that are failing can be noted by their failure patterns. After returning this iPad for another, I ordered another from the same seller and it works well. The cosmetic condition of the replacement, however, is not as good as the first one since there are visible blemishes all the way around the aluminum bezel and there are a few light scratches on the The story is different Then and now They were literally bent in the middle when they were delivered Not just dented, but deformed in the sense that it was not flat. Then and now There was no shipping involved, as the devices were already in the warehouse before shipping was made I'm doing fine. Everything was well packed and in good condition. Then and now As a result of the deformation on each device, the display glass was distorted, and it was easily damaged A perfect example of permanent distortion can be observed when viewing along the edge of the device. There was enough distortion in one iPad's backlight that it caused the display to dim drastically This was displayed as bright spots around the edge of the LCD (see pictures). Then and now It is both hilarious and sad that a person would consider these two bent iPads to be "renewed, like new". Then and now Both bent iPads went right back in their boxes for Amazon to take back (I put a bright yellow post-it on each one to hopefully warn whoever checks the returned devices not to The) When There was one USB or perhaps, incorrectly, there was one The cables) and devices come with different devices so the results are not consistent. Using a 12W charger will allow you to charge your device faster. must credit the vendor for sending me a new USB charger as soon as they realized the wrong device was being used Among the Air 2 units is a charger for the micro USB port. Please be advised In the end, my recommendation is to carefully inspect your "refurbished" iPad since vendors change the condition of what they send you from time to time. Then and now 2 in particular is much thinner than its predecessor and more likely to get bent if mishandled during its lifespan - so this could be detriment to its longevity. Perhaps this helps to explain why bent ones regularly wind up at a refurbisher. With the Air 2, you can bend it to a great extent and still have it function without a hitch. Even so, it's clear that "like new" is not necessarily synonymous with "not bent" in the ultra-violet world If you are using the thin Air 2, then go with 90-degrees During the first 5 days of the Amazon Renewed Guarantee, you should make sure your device meets a reasonable definition of "like new" when it arrives. As a whole, I am pleased with the two renewed iPads I chose to keep (32GB models, one from each of the vendors Then and now There are some questions I don't know the answer to A single vendor can handle any number of orders This is better The seller was right to select "like new" iPads, however it is apparent that at least one of the above companies sent broken items. Lastly, keep in mind that the 90-day period is usually followed by a two-year period If it's not as described, you can get a full refund under the Amazon Renewed Guarantee. However, some vendors claim that restocking fees will also be charged for returning the refurbished goods. Then and now If you encounter this issue, you must contact Amazon to have the problem rectified. The Amazon Renewed policy is unclear about this topic and you should contact them if you are charged fees.

I am disappointed
3/5

Is there anything wrong with the device even though it had a minor scratch on the back? I took the iPad for a 30 minute walk and used it for very little time before the digitizer (the touch sensor) completely stopped working. Cannot trust this certified refurbished product. Going to Apple, same price, much better When I tried to experiment with third-party tools, I got burned!.
