As part of the package that came with my cooler, thermal paste is As far as thermal paste is concerned, you won't need it unless you plan to install a different CPU cooler.
It may help speed up higher speeds, but it bottlenecks them.
At 1080p, both the graphics and the computing power are good enough for basic computing and gaming. The processor itself is no different You may want to add a mid-section It is a top-level graphics card that performs well with 1080p gaming. As an 8- grader, I am impressed 990FX Gaming motherboard with AMD FX 8370 (core AMD FX 8370).
has a cooling fan already attached. I hope this is helpful

To give to my parents as a gift, I bought this to go in a desktop. In addition to its 4 cores and 8 threads, this processor is also very fast. The company should be able to use it for many years to come.
I decided to buy this over an AMD processor for the following reasons The iGPU included in the processor is a much cheaper alternative to the 3300x + GPU combo, since gamers won't be using it for gaming. I was planning to integrate their existing hard drive with the new machine, and I wanted to buy a 16GB Intel optane chip at around $20 using this processor. Their needs were met perfectly by the Intel Optane chip. In AMD's current caching product, similar features are not built into the user interface. The intel I got from this is just what I needed. As a result, I was able to buy this for $122 which is exactly the MSRP, where as I was not able to find Ryzen 3100 or 3300x for a reasonable price as supply has been low for quite a while.
In a nutshell, As I am building my Z490 build I decided to buy the least expensive Core i3 CPU - A run-away success. It was either impossible to locate LGA 1200 Core i7 and i9 CPUs (by resellers) or they were outrageously expensive. As a result of using this CPU for a while, I am astonished by how well it runs my Z490 system. As Bill McDonald points out in his excellent comments, I agree with him. In my case, DDR4 RAM runs at 3600 MHz (XMP) and I am easily able to game at 1080p without a hitch. Although it's water cooled, it's clearly overkill since I never use it for anything that will get hot-- No matter what the load is. The following information is true and correct As opposed to the integrated Intel graphics, I am using a separate graphics card (graphics card). In spite of that, this CPU is consistently performing at far higher levels than expectations, and it is an 8-core CPU AMD FX8370 core clocked to 4. 2 GHz The processor is running at 3GHz. In terms of both performance and price, you cannot go wrong with this Comet Lake CPU, and it will impress in both cases An elevated standard of living This is the end of the build.
As a reader, I find it really impressive how this series has been threaded. As long as I do not overclock it, this thing seems to be holding performance with my 9600k. It is the only new Intel I could purchase since the other new chips were too expensive or not available. This program is used with the new Microsoft Office 365 and MSFS 2020 The frame rates are awe-inspiring at 4K at high settings and I'm getting good FPS It's powered by a GTX 1070! It idles at 28 degrees, never goes over 40 degrees, and never goes beyond that under load with a 240mm fan. This deal is definitely the best in the lineup!.
Despite its low price point, this CPU performs on par with an old 7700K. ( Googling it is worth visiting. The AMD 4 core/ 8 thread high performance CPU is an excellent budget gaming chip, and paired with some DDR6666 and a nice 1660 super, it can run shadow of the tomb raider with 90 frames per second. While the 3300x beats it , assuming you can even buy it, Intel has one huge advantage over AMD , stability, what good is speed if your system is plagued with errors, usb issues, memory problems , no, Intel is the king of stability!.
For a little over a hundred bucks, it's well built. Over the course of many years, I worked with an AMD FX 6300. Below are the results I obtained using three different games in 1080p with an AMD RX 570 as the graphics card (the frames are locked at 60 in the majority of The 30-day period After 45 minutes Ashes of the singularity (benchmark)

After As long as loading continues, there is virtually no deterioration in the loading speed. It is now possible to set the rendering to a much higher level.
By and large, this thing performs very well in your average adventure/shooter, but for RTS gameplay you may want to look at more powerful hardware.
I am 99 years old. Performance was excellent at such a low price. Tech can be a blessing or a curse. The value of a dollar depreciates really fast. All you have to do is blink and it is worthless. Look at all the high-end Core i7 CPUs you bought in the past for twice or three times as much as the 10th generation CPU you are buying now. All of them are now outperformed by this entry level CPU. We are being woken up by a A seller of used processors still asks for prices that exceed the cost of this new processor. I would recommend this purchase without hesitation. Invest in it for three to four years and depreciate it. The technology is moving forward
UPDATE The price of this CPU dropped by 10% just a week after I bought it, but with Amazon's flexibility, I was able to get that back. The only thing it shows is how quickly technology depreciates.
I absolutely love this value for money. The frame rate, functionality, and video editing are excellent! The fact that this processor has 4 cores and 8 threads for less than $130 seems crazy, but when paired with a motherboard like the B460, 16GB ram, and a GTX 1650 or 1660 Super, it's a really good budget build. You should definitely check it out!.
For my SFF PC, I wanted a low power (quiet) solution that would be able to drive a number of 3-4 4K The CPU performs well with the ASRock Z490 itx/tb3 motherboard. It can handle all my desktop apps and is very responsive. PC power consumption at the plug is around 24W idle with screens on and 10Gb Ethernet card, and the fans are The previous time I built a SFF PC it had a X470 and Ryzen processor. My USB compatibility problems were extreme and the power consumption was out of control. Although I have a Ryzen in my homelab server, the cost is a bit more than Intel, but its low power draw and compatibility are much better than Ryzen.
