CORSAIR VENGEANCE RGB 32GB (4x8GB) DDR4 3000MHz C15 Desktop Memory - Black

As of now, this is approved for Asus X370 Prime Pro customers and NOT (yet) for the ROG Strix X370 F Gaming customers. So far, I have used 4 sets of RAM and so far two have worked, and for the ROG Strix version, the RGB memory works fine even when tested with Memtest86, even though the Vengeance RGB isn't QVL approved. Due to the ROG Strix's more attractive design, I will be returning my Prime X370 Pro. Initially, I set the clock to 3000MHz, it worked fine and passed the tests when I inserted 4 DIMMs, but it was limited to 2933 no matter how many DIMMs were in the system. As for the RAM, it will default to 2133MHz out of the box on most Ryzen boards unless it is set to 2400MHz out of the box. As of this date, this RAM works with the latest BIOS without any issues. With the 4 DIMMs in place in the Prime X370 Pro, this RAM is QVL'd for the Prime, but not the Strix, but it still passed Memtest86 after hours of testing. For me personally, the QVL is out of date for My intent is to share this information with people who want RGB and wish to customize their items. Good luck if you ask me anything! I'll do my best to help! It worked at 3200MHz with FOUR DIMMs! I repeat, it worked at 3200MHz with four DIMMs! Memtest86 and MemtestHCI both passed, only finding one error during the run!.

In my experience it performs very well alongside Ryzen 2700X (At lower clocks), I was able to get 3600mhz 16-bit with it After I ended up with 36 (in stable gaming for 6 hours but unstable in stress tests like memtest64 that just finished 5 loops and crashed the system) I tried lower the frequency with tighter timing, so I got 3400mhz 14-bit instead. So where is the optimal position? 30 (stable in gaming for 6-8 hours, but unstable in stress tests such as memtest64 finished 10 loops with some errors, then the system crashed) so what is the best spot for gaming? As of now, I have it set to IMPORTANT NOTE In order to get the settings for the ram, I used the Ryzen RAM Calculator.

The vengeance pro ram looks great in a YouTube video, so I decided to give it a shot, even though I had bad experiences with corsair's ICUE software in the past. When I got the ram, ICUE immediately starting having problem. A problem with the ram caused the software to fail to recognize the device, and the RGB effects could not be changed After searching online, I found that the problem could be fixed by shutting down three corsair processes in the windows task manager and restarting the program. In no time at all, the ram was recognized and everything went well, but after a day the RGB effects went out of sync and opening and restarting ICUE had no effect whatsoever. The computer was restarted as well, but to no avail. I had to close the task manager, stop 3 corsair operations, restart the program, and then start the program again in order to get the game back to normal, but the problem recurred. I found that sometimes it would only take a day, but other times, the RGB effects would be out of sync every time I turned off or put the computer Despite the fact that the memory portion of the product works well, I would give this product only 1 star due to the fact that we paid a premium for RGB, but the feature we are paying for doesn't work. When it comes to Corsair RGB products not performing like they did in the past, I would probably be easy on my review if this were a one-time thing, but this has happened to me before with this Ram and a K70 keyboard on separate computer builds. Despite the fact that I like the look of the rgb as it works, I recommend people to look for another brand as the ICUE software is just a pain to deal with and not worth the money.

This RAM set was exactly what I needed. I'm just going to say that this is the first time I have used Corsair is my preferred brand but I always thought their RAM kits were too expensive, and there are other kits available at a lower price. I do want to point out that this is a really beautiful kit of RAM. There are 3000mhz radios in this In my case it is in the Gigabyte Aorus Gaming 5 X370 motherboard for the AMD Ryzen platform, coupled with either a Ryzen 5 1600x or a Ryzen 5 1600x OCed A 05ghz frequency. There is an official 3200mhz speed limit for my board's DDR4 RAM. There are no issues at all with my kit which is OC'd at 3200mhz! Downloading Corsair Link and playing around with the colors in it is all that's needed to use RGB functionality of the RAM. As well as that, there are different modes to play. It is hard to overstate my appreciation for what Corsair has accomplished with this In addition to performing like a champ, it also looks great.

This RAM is comparable to the Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4-based system. It is usually cheaper to get a 1600 16GB kit instead. It's surprising to see that the heat sink does something, and the LEDs are bright and attractive. ICUE's engine provides many RGB effects and offers user-friendly operation, allowing it to be used with other Corsair products as well. It would be great if there was only one thing I would change, the Corsair logo on the side of the heatsink would be cutout rather than painted white so that you could see it in full The reason they didn't do this, however, is that it would require a high degree of detail and make it far.
