The total number of EVGA power supplies was 7
3/5

There were 4 dead units. A lot of work was done to repair and upgrade our office technology, but our next build stalled. We ordered 5 power supplies and tried building three times with EVGA power supplies. Power could not be accessed by the mobo. I ran every test in the world, replaced the box, the motherboard, the CPU - everything has worked now! It turns out that the PSU tests good with power, but the PG (Power Good) reading is 50ms, and the motherboard will not boot unless it is in the 100-ms range for safety reasons A price range of 500. It took my original PSU two more times to pass the PG test, and then my next two replacements also failed. And I had to wait a minimum of 24 hours before getting real tech support. Would have liked to try anything before returning, but that is what I must EVGA, Corsair or Thermtake are no longer on my list of products to buy.

Its reliability, compactness, and quietness make it ideal for home use
5/5

Getting the most out of this since it arrived early October 2019. Getting it installed was quick and easy and there is a hardware switch to turn it on and off. I have had no problems with powering my components, and the power supply comes with all the cables you need to mount and connect your components. As always when purchasing EVGA gear, don't forget to register your products to receive the full 10 year warranty. It's hard to tell how long this will last, but my previous 650W EVGA power supply still works fine after five years. Coil Whine with a Heavy Collet
4/5

It was very easy to install and looks great. I found that the power supply is quite consistent and provides plenty of power to my system, but now I hear a loud coil whine, and I know that it is A brief update My product was returned and I received a new one, the coil wine has been reduced but is still present. The product has a little bit more noise than my old 600W Thermaltake, but it is manageable. One of the best parts of the product is its power stability and reliability, which I'm glad The following is an update late in This unit is much better than the Asus power supply that I had previously purchased, as it was more reliable and quite with more performance at a little higher price. However, this unit is fantastic.

There is plenty of power
5/5

His computer which I built for him many moons ago when he was but a wee lad is being rebuilt by my teen son. This new processor takes care of all the work. There should be more disk drives / SSDs. Taking the original power supply away from it, the graphics card has become ultra powerful and the original power supply can no longer handle the load. In the end, the machine would give up and shut down if he ran the graphics at redline-high levels. I installed a generic PSU that I believe is "600watts" way back when, but it's failed to provide enough power. Thus, we had searched for quite some time for a power supply and eventually found this EVGA 750 gold model. I'll bet that power supply is really hefty--I mean, it's heavy--and it must be loaded with good stuff to deliver the power you need to power whatever you are using. The tank has been built to last. A great thing about these cables is how modular they are. The interior of the box is no longer cluttered with spaghetti. Now, only the cables you need are inside. Despite its quietness, it is peaceful. Yet, I have not heard the fan running at high speeds even when the games are running at full-speech One of the best features is there is no longer an overload shut-off In the hands of Downs, his machine can now handle any task. When I used to build PCs, there used to be a time when what you had in the power supply really didn't matter too much. These days, it's a different story If you're looking for a quality power supply, one that can deliver all the power you need, you need one that can do the job Peripherals with a hunger for information. There are a number of EVGA chips that might meet this requirement and do.

A great power supply with only one minor complaint
4/5

Lenovo Ideacentre 710's stock power supply (250W) had failed, so I replaced the unit with this one The model has been upgraded to 25ISH so that the GPU can be upgraded Based on what I had learned from watching and reading about PSU upgrades, I decided that a higher wattage modular unit with gold certification would be the best upgrade This seemed like the best course of action. I ordered an EVGA unit since they had good reviews, so I installed it right away. Fitting the EVGA PSU into the rail and bolting it on was easy, and the included cables were constructed well, with a well-designed, sturdy I love the fan because it is quiet and I can keep my case well organized thanks to its modular cable design. It may have been due to EVGA's fault that I had to use the COMeap 24 to 10 pin adapter with my Lenovo motherboard. I would love to be a star). The wall outlet on the floor is far away from my tower, which is why I had to buy an extension cable to bridge the gap. The rest of the time, I am very happy with this power supply.

This is an EVGA quality but a LOUD one
3/5

Is a great power supply that can handle all the demands you throw at it. When the fan kicks on, however, it makes quite a noise. It can be heard coming from the next room over when the fan is ramping up. When working on a case that focuses on air flow, I'm very conscious of the temperature. As early as possible, I set up my system entirely as air cooled, with aggressive fan curves in order to decrease my temps. Using a thorough cleaning every month, I keep my PC in good shape. Since that is the case, now that I am putting my computer through its paces, the fans are still relatively quiet. A lot of noise is generated by this power supply, to the point of being Even though I am an avid fan of EVGA, this is to the point that I felt I should Although its too late for me to return it, I am gonna do some research on Jonyguru (which I should have done) and find a new one. If I build an HPC where the tower isn't 2 feet away from my ear, I'll be able to hear. However, there is a lot of noise with this. In summary, if noise isn't a concern, it's a solid companion. You may want to look elsewhere if this could be a problem.

Cable for the SATA drive is missing
3/5

Do you have a quiet system when the CPU is idle and a loud system when the CPU is producing EVGA is the PSU my computer has been powered by for the past five There are two G2 and one G3 It is the third generation of the GM3 As wistful as I was, it was time to upgrade my PSU, so I picked up a The first issue is that there was no SATA cable included in the box, which is just unacceptable unless this was not what was ordered. 64), Isogear. In the event the problem continues, I will wait to observe it but I am contemplating returning/returning the product. I am disappointed with the G5 series and would not recommend it.
