The bullet has been struck Nonetheless, the system was able to function
4/5

Unfortunately, I was not as fortunate as I thought I would be. My initial PSU was not as white as the original one because through the fan grate I noticed some grey material inside. * When I took it apart after installation, it looked white. It seems that it is some type of thermal paste or gel, maybe even a protective one to prevent electric arcs. Despite being completely sealed at the factory, it has never been opened. Despite this, it had this grey, seemingly solidified goop at the bottom of the container. I thought it was strange at the time, but I didn't really think much of it. I'll get back to this goop later on. The power supply from Corsair is known for its high quality, and this one comes with My own power supply, which I installed in my computer about two weeks ago, died about two weeks after that. An electric shock sent a loud crack through my computer, and I immediately shut down the entire system. It did not do anything when I pressed the power button. "Oh my God. [censored]" was what escaped my tongue. Having a PSU die on you is a very bad experience. The PSU killed not only itself but also everything attached to it, or at the very least, the PSU bit the bullet on its own. In some way or another, everything inside your computer is connected to the power supply. A system failure could have cost hundreds or thousands of dollars. Fortunately, only my PSU failed - the rest of the system was fine. My entire system was not affected by it. When it was disconnected from my computer and I plugged it into a wall, I hooked it up to my old PC and turned it on. Initially the power supply provided enough power, but then a clicking noise could be heard It might have been a safety breaker in it that was triggered, which caused the device to shut down. The RMA process for the PSU was relatively simple, but the only way I could get Corsair to expedite my RMA through their support center was by calling their help desk. They had to hear my RMA request twice before they approved it, but once consent was received, I was able to ship it to them. Mind you, I did it on my dime. The cost of shipping back to them is not covered by My problem is not that these large companies have lots of customer service calls and tickets to take care of, but that after calling twice and taking nearly an hour in hold time and call time, my RMA was only handled after phone calls two times. I may have had a bad week for Corsair, but even with the bad luck, the experience was still frustrating, especially when there was a brand new product involved. I receive a brand new one the same day my dead PSU is received by their service department - so thank goodness You can get your order in 1 day with our expedited shipping service! On the very next morning, I received a new PSU after my broken one had been delivered. So, I guess. The $17 I spent shipping the dead bird back to them makes up for that, I suppose. Inspecting the interior of my new power supply unit once more after receiving it, I found that it was clean inside. Quite to my surprise, I found out. . . I don't want any grey goo. Even with a flashlight and my eyes, I did not spot any drops. I recall that grey goop was painfully obvious in my previous, deceased unit. It could be seen through the grate immediately. Would you mind explaining this unit to me? I did not drop.

The SeaSonic SSR is available for purchase A 850FX, please
3/5

Since 1998, when I used Corsair memory to overclock the snot out of my system, I have been using their products. I've had 20 years of experience. With this power supply there was nothing but a click and power for 1/100th of a second. I never wish you to go through what I did The low reviews can be read here. Make sure you do your homework, there are many scammers around. A large part of my PC's performance comes from my wonderful LGA1366 graphics card During the testing of this boat anchor, no supporting actors were burned at the stake. SeaSonic is the way to go.

It's so frustrating to deal with stiff cables
3/5

For some reason, the cables in this unit are really stiff, even though this unit is fully modular. To make sure the stiffness of the cables wasn't putting an unnecessary strain on the motherboard headers, I spent a lot of time working with the cables. In fact, the 24 pin power cable feels so rigid I felt like it could snap when I tried to bend it. In case you are trying to achieve a really neat looking cable setup with this PSU, it will fall short. This is in a Fractal Meshify C and it barely fits. If it were any larger, I would not be able to slide it in. Considering that the Meshify C is pretty compact, I would not recommend this PSU as a solution, instead I would recommend looking for a smaller PSU. As this is more of a case specific issue, I'd just like to note the compatibility issue.

The power supply is gorgeous
4/5

The synopsis is power supply, made in Japan from Japanese components that will last your entire life (if your power consume doesn't outgrow it). A full review can be found here Since I have owned the 650w RMx model for about 4 years, I have never had an issue with it. After the Nvidia 30 series release, it has now become the recommended spec of 750W. With this 750W power supply, I am very pleased with the packaging (which is slightly less wasteful than my previous unit) and it comes with all the cable modules you can ever need as well as *The white model of the case is absolutely gorgeous and features semi-sleeved cables (I docked 1 star because they aren't fully sleeved-- It was extra expensive for white extension cables). In terms of functionality, this is one of the best on the market, since the fan runs at zero RPM whether or not it is And still, I never hear any of I definitely recommend this unit for the piece of mind and the way it looks in my open plan The case is on the air!.

You can count on Corsair to deliver This PSU is what I got for my new build since I needed a bit more power for the upgrades I made to the CPU, RAM, and GPU (don't worry if you don't know what those acronyms mean)
5/5

When the dependent resources were all working at their maximum, I wanted near silence and load handling that could cope with the load. Even when I play my most demanding games, this power supply is quiet and does not hiccup. Installation is easy, even if the build has already been done. The PSU would be a good buy for me Beginners should take note of the following When you do this, you are only providing the cabling you need for your system and adding more as you add more components. The brand I trust is Corsair, so I buy it with confidence.

Despite being reliable and quiet, the cables are ugly
3/5

I just purchased my first Corsair PSU and I have to say that I am really disappointed with it. As I usually choose EVGA power supplies, I took a risk on this PSU due to its stellar reviews and decent price. In terms of power delivery or ambient noise, I've had no issues, but my main pain point is I find them ridiculously cheap looking, and they also feel cheap. Multiple EVGA PSUs have braided cables that look nice and clean, but these cables are messy, and the quality is bad. The 2080TI I have consists of two 6+2 pin connectors, so I had to use them. There are only two cables included with this thing, one 6+2 cable (Do NOT do like this along with a power hungry card - it is a fire hazard) and a 6+2 cable that splits in to three. Then what? The last time I had a power supply, there were multiple 1 to 1 6+2 cables so I'm not sure why. It hasn't given me any problems otherwise, so I'd give it a 4 out of 5. We just want better cables from you,.
