Questions & Answers

When the release date arrives, will Amazon have a stock of the product?

It was ordered on 10/20 and had to be cancelled on 11/13, and I ended up buying it from Newegg, because it says the estimated delivery If you are planning to get the i9 by a reasonable deadline, I don't think you should bother ordering it from Amazon.

It is estimated that all pre-ordered items will ship on October 19th What's the order?

On Amazon, not a single shipment was delivered. There was no stock from Intel, as far as I know. In July, only 50 units were shipped out to Youtube reviewers before Intel claimed to be unable to divulge any testing results until after October 19th, according to a press release. The 19th of October approaches, but due to an Intel-sponsored reviewer skewing the results in Intel's favor, they feel it is better for the CPUs not to be shipped out so that no one is able to compare their own results against the others. However, I am still interested in the CPU I had planned on getting I've ordered it. Don't you dare take away my octacore CPU!

On October 19, 2018, has anyone received his or her CPU?

The one from B&ampH is also on order I didn't know when my preorder would be available on amazon since I did not know when it would be available. My order was placed on 10/8, and it has not been sent yet. According to Amazon, the order was supposed to be shipped by 10/20, but as with the Amazon order, it hasn't been shipped and I haven't heard anything about it since then. The fact that everyone is in the same boat is quite strange.

Is the 10/19/2018 release date what they will ship on?

In advance, I would like you to The order should be from new to old It says on the siliconlottery website that the 9900K will be ETA on November 11, (it was originally scheduled for October 26).

It's called "Gaming Hero"
5/5

To begin with, I am the dad, and I would not have bought this for myself. As a result, my son decided to build a gaming PC for Christmas and since I told him I wanted him to get top of the line components so that he wouldn't have to upgrade it soon, he bought the best components possible. This is what I would like to tell you. You won't believe how fast this thing moves! I have no doubt that my son and his gaming buddies are envious of the power of this gaming system. This is the best gaming PC for top performance if you are building your own. You can become a "D" if you are a dad. You should buy "(Dad of the Year)" when it comes out. The whole thing is perfect for a 14-year-old. The Ph. D. program. The socks I got for Christmas are good.

Performance for games at its best
5/5

It's great processor, but just a side note, the Asus Maximus XI series motherboards come with 4 phase VRMs and barely can run it at 5 ghz A motherboard from Asus should not be coupled with this processor This statement comes from someone who has almost exclusively used Asus motherboards for their.

The temperature is high and the motor is throttled
4/5

This is a beast with the Asus z390 Maximus Hero and 32GB of gskill 3200 CL14, but it's not the fastest. Overclocking is something to forget about, even though it runs extremely hot already. Intel has already tried to compete with AMD on the market,
it runs very fast, but it also slows it down a lot due to the temperature and power limit. As an example, while gaming the D15S core temperature is rising to the 70s C range and spikes to the 80s C range, which is a shockingly high temperature compared to an i7 5820k with a 4 clock setting. In the second model, there was a smaller CPU cooler and a mid-50s c CPU.
Unless you fiddle with the BIOS, the clocks don't stay steady, and it takes a lot more power than 95 watts, and I have spiked as high as 180 Watts on my CPU alone. Intel was in a hurry to release this processor in order to compete in the market, so this CPU obviously needed a die shrink. I would also like to mention the following Almost all CPUs do not have good cooling, so it is a must to have a good CPU cooler.

I replaced the CPU with this one and it was much faster than the old one
4/5

A month was required for delivery, so I am taking one star off. By now, I was expecting to get to 10nm, so I was tempted to chop another star off. Nevertheless, they did a good job with this- Another one - This CPU is based on the 14nm process. In honor of Moore's law's last moments, let us all take a moment of silence. Rest in peace. "- " The 4-pounder performs up to a hundred times faster than the 4-pounder on all my workloads Children from 6 to 8 years old The 22nm i7-based CPU In this case, it replaced an AMD 5820K. Please note Br>- In contrast to that old x99 processor, the I9 consumes only a fraction of the power and produces far less heat. Please note 176 watts after running P95 torture test for 12 minutes. Temps briefly spike into the low 80's when running that obsolete and unrealistic test. (Monitor The )*br I typically do not manually overclock the 9900k, except in the first setup and testing process, because it would only result in about 3% more performance than I get when I run it optimized and without any power restrictions enabled (e. g. This is outside the Intel TDP spec, but was the default for the Z390 boards of the early days). Turn off the throttles, ensure that the voltage is set to auto, and that's it. Please note For long periods, use 0 GHz for common many core load, and 4 GHz for more intense load. The speed of all cores must be 7 GHz under heavy load (i. Here's what I see with the above configuration g P95). The H115i PRO AIO cooling I'm using doesn't force workload throttling to the official 3. I haven't seen any workload throttling yet. With speeds of up to 6 GHz. Please note Br>- I've seen a lot of change in the past 20 years since overclocking on hard cores was a thing. In this case, I have disabled throttles on the CPU so it does exactly what I wanted it to do. Almost right out of the box, it overclocks organically. While still hitting 5 GHz, the turbo boost adjusts to work load optimized fantastic speeds when needed, and it cuts down to less than 25 watts TPD when not under stress. This is a 0 Ghz processor. Workloads can be switched between without having to make adjustments. You should not be distracted. I like it!
- It is much cheaper than the much more expensive xx99 chipset and provides Intel onboard graphics with Quick Sync for faster and more reliable performance. One of my tasks runs 24 hours a day and I have long missed this feature. Please note Compare the x299 platform prices to this and you'll find it to be a great buy. Intel is suffering an impact from AMD's innovation, as the HEDT segment is now a target of AMD. Although it's marketed as a gaming CPU, I believe it would be a great choice for workstation users. In the 12-year-old age group, there's a lot of frustration The year is The old-fashioned way The chip is aimed at the heart of the gaming community. As a result of the 14nm shortage and the price difference with last year, the product is not competitive in that market segment, nor does it carry much innovation over last year's offering that upsets the frequent must-have-the-latest trend. Unless you have industrial cooling equipment, there isn't that much headroom for overclocking on the latest upgraders. I9-based systems are an excellent choice if you have an older (3 years+) CPU and are looking to rebuild your system and want an affordable, high performance chip (compared to x299/HEDT platforms and the extra cost incurred by the 14nm supply shortage), Intel's 9900K is a fine choice that keeps you on top of the latest and greatest. It's a safe bet since 10nm chips from Intel don't seem to be out until 2020. Those seeking more value should look to AMD's latest. We all owe AMD a debt of gratitude for compelling Intel to offer this new 8-core chip. In this segment, the core chip is used. I wish AMD the best of luck.

The CPU is great for gaming and comes with an amazing The processor runs brilliantly, easily clocks up to 5 GHz on all cores, but there is some serious heat to be expected under load and/or on the bench
5/5

Adding a mark. Attempting to overclock or push this chip will result in major problems unless you have a decent sized AIO water cooler or an awesome air cooler. As for performance, I'm strictly into gaming, and it can handle brand new titles like Assassin's Creed Odyssey like it's nothing. I get 100 fps up to and including the latest games from the modern top publishers in plenty of headroom. There probably won't be any game-changing developments in the next few years (DDR5 ram, perhaps? In any case, barring something entirely out of the ordinary like that, I can't see this thing running out of juice even in a few years from now. My purchase was satisfactory, and although the price (bought at $530) is high, it doesn't bother me too much because there is a price range for almost everyone, with 9700K, 9600K, and 8700K all capable of fantastic gaming performance at lower prices. Please be clear, I am of the opinion that you should not buy this for gaming because you need it, but rather because it is the best (mainstream) CPU out there, and because you feel it will be useful in the future. A proofed version may be available at some point (you It's nice to know I have plenty of power left to spare for that next big game coming up Go for it if you feel the same way, we think you'll are on a tight budget and could choose between getting a great graphics card or this, it is definitely best to choose the graphics card and buy a 9700k, 9600k, or even an 8700k or 8600k depending on your budget. Plus, the packaging is attractive, so you can display it and show your friends what you've got.
