Questions & Answers

This processor differs from the 9900k. What do they have in common?

There are no dedicated graphics on the "kf". Apart from that, it's the same as always. Because of this, I purchased the "k" over the "kf" because it is cheaper and I have a dedicated GPU so I would never use the integrated graphics from Intel.

Now I get a different chip each time I get one of these The problem is not just some random 'solder-' The chips are able to be used). Do you know anyone else who has experienced something similar?

This was a similar experience I had as well. I received an old i3 chip that was not solderable for a laptop, instead a chip that was a part of an older i3 computer. In the end, I received a refund from BestBuy and ordered from them again.

What is the difference between KF and K?

When the processor is k, it is unlocked, which means that it can be overclocked. kf means that the CPU is NOT equipped with integrated graphics, which means you need a graphics card to run it. The i9 9900k and kf are both the same, only the kf is not equipped with

KFs are what kind of fund? I cannot even find it on the Itel website. ?

Neither KF nor KF Pro has onboard graphics

CPUs with an i9 processor were not sent
3/5

The CPU in this system is not an Intel i9 There is no writing on the board or any serial number, and the box is unmarked. It appears I'm not the only one who thought this piece of plastic was useless and spent $480 on it. It's Amazon's turn to sort it out.

I'm in awe
5/5

My 3900x got a lot of ass kissing after I picked this up for $420. My workstation should respond to my demands and whims instantly - not unrealistic benchmarks, since I am a software architect. There's no point in keeping fewer than 6 if you need more When you use 8 cores, you're working on a very specific The problem is that even with hyper threading, four cores is insufficient for power users today, and one can notice an actual slowdown when using the machine on a daily basis. There is a 5-star thing here. The auto-threading function on my motherboard didn't allow me to clock my CPU at 1GHz on all 8 cores I am not an OC (I do not know how to do it myself). The world moves at the speed of light. With my IDE, I can stream code directly from my brain to my IDE without waiting for the keystrokes to appear, close and open endless tabs instantly without lag that you can experience on OS X or slower CPUs on Windows, and pretty much do anything I want. In general, 8 cores is the right sweet spot for gaming, coding, and general use. If there is anything more that's awesome, but it's entirely imperceptible if you're not doing render-related work or a few other threads-related jobs The workload is dependent on each other. Even if you don't know that you need 12 cores, you probably won't need them, and you'll probably be able to make do Moreover, Windows also feels 200% faster in real-life when it doesn't have to flow through integrated graphics, which is why this processor is the god of desktop computers right now, benchmarks notwithstanding. The thing Intel introduced in either its 8th gen or 9th gen processors that lets its processors reach their Turbo faster is what AMD does not have, which is why how fast your computer *feels* is still faster on Intel despite comparable single-core performance. The following is a thread benchmark result (which does not represent how long it will take for you to feel that your computer is responding). As a conclusion You are better off getting a cheaper AMD CPU instead if you consider yourself someone who speaks and thinks at a normal, leisurely pace, since you may not perceive the benefits this chip offers. In contrast, if you're a zippy little mofe and use a computer fast, this CPU is currently the best on the market! It's the best out there when it comes to getting the highest single-threaded performance! Having a computer with fast core speeds makes a huge difference in the performance of the computer.

What an unexpected turn of events
3/5

This morning, CPUs were delivered. The whole CPU, though, or even inside of an Intel box might not be appropriate. The green PCB wafer is all that I have. It does not have a heat spreading surface. There are no pins on the motherboard. It's unclear what type of CPU it is, or even whether it is a CPU at all.

I can't get this chip to run with optimized default settings
3/5

This may be a bad chip that I got or it could be that I received the very first mass batch of the chip that went on sale to the public, but there is no denying that the chip and the imc are substandard. It is impossible for me to use the TridentZ xmp at all and I can only be stable for about five minutes even when I use the optimized defaults in bios then press F10 to save and exit. Afterwards, I see a WHEA uncorrectable error blue screen, and then I have to restart the computer. Furthermore, I thought this chip was designed to handle heat better than the standard In stress tests, I have only tested the CPU-side of an ekwb cooling loop from one of the premade kits, and I am not confident as all threads use CPU-side cooling When I ran z benchmark, I instantly spiked to 95 °C, and after 30 minutes I had dropped to 80 °C If I do 45 seconds of continuous stress testing, I will slowly inch past 102 It might be that I just missed the silicon lottery, but to me it seems unjust to release a processor that requires such high levels of cooling even if it is just on its default settings. Then maybe they will be able to make processors with this many cores and threads without them heating up like a mini Chernobyl on the cpu when they finally get to the smaller 7nm die. When I do use it for the brief 5-day stint, it can be a nice change from the usual It will take about ten I have tested the processor a few times on a cold night and the processor is quite responsive. It's just too bad that in order to truly use all this power, you need a computer that's out of my budget by a few thousand.

The ship is dead on arrival
3/5

The ship is dead on arrival. I have never had a CPU with a D designation before. All the items (new build) were tested before I put the second CPU in. It was very easy to return items to Amazon. It's a great CPU, would have given 5 stars if it hadn't been D. I now have an i9 9900K (not KF) and I adore it.

It is worth the money if you just play video games
5/5

Dedicated to a person who works full-time and just enjoys their free time. Thanks to this beast of a CPU, my gaming experience is truly worth it. At 5ghz 1, this CPU runs cooler than most. I used to have a 9700k at 5GHz that took three volts less than my current one. The 37th verse. My CPU temperature has been around 65 degrees C max in HWinfo with an average temperature of 50 degrees C for the 24 hours I have run it at 5ghz. You can find this CPU for around 460$ as well, so I would recommend it.

It is not even a CPU that I received
3/5

There is something you keep sending me that I don't understand. There are Chinese characters on the brown box. In what should be holding an Intel CPU, there is a chip of some kind, but I have no idea what it is. There is no possibility of fitting LGA 1151 into that case. Heck, I don't even know what it is. is the second time I have returned something like Sadly, I can no longer order from this company.

You should not buy it since it is a fake
3/5

It would be a waste of money to buy this as you would receive some random piece of hardware like what.
