Questions & Answers

Why is there such a large price difference between the two items?

It's not just this CPU, but I'll stick with this product because some retailers' bot detection is extremely poor. or don't give a damn about it. They do not impose restrictions such as one per household. br>br>Someone could swoop in and buy ten at MSRP, then resell them on a few major retailers. Those retailers charge a 10% or higher fee for those selling second hand. The "resellers" have to sell at a higher price to not lose money (plus as much as In a nutshell, this is why.

Why didn't this come up in the search results at all? A Youtube link led me to this. ?

To put it another way, Amazon's search feature isn't very good. Google define products that I want in Amazon helps me find and get better results. If Amazon's search features were actually better, it would be a fantastic place to shop for a variety of items.

Why do I have to check every hour for this 5900x and 6800xt, and nothing shows that miners or bots are picking them off since launch?

Bots. Miners do not require a high-end CPU because they do not mine with them because the hash rate is not worth it. They only use high-end graphics cards, and they use a lot of them. Add in the worldwide silicon shortage, COVID, and the fact that most people are staying indoors and looking for something to do, and you have a massive demand for a product; however, the 5800x appears to be in stock on a regular basis. I've been looking for a 5900x (for myself) and a 3090 (for a friend), both of which are likely to sell out in a matter of seconds. My recommendation is to check out Discord, where there are groups that track the availability of these items. I'm not a miner; I'm just a gamer who enjoys building PCs.

Is there a CPU cooler included with this?

It doesn't because most people use this CPU and the 5950x for high-end gaming, while others use it for lower-end audio and video editing, and most of these people already have their own cooling solutions. br>However, if you're buying a CPU in the future, keep in mind that the top 3 or 4 models usually don't come with a cooling solution, so you'll need to buy one.

If it existed, that would be great
3/5

This is a fantastic processor. However, it sold out of limited stock in less than a second after it went live, and I'm not joking. This is eerily similar to nvidia's recent video card fiasco. These were given to bots, youtubers, and a few lucky people. You won't find these in stores (except for pre-orders). Construction will continue until the second quarter of 2021. Best of luck!.

Packaging Is Horrible - It was on the verge of being destroyed
3/5

There are no bent pins that I can see, and the product appears to work so far, but idle temps with my Corsair H100i 240 mm AIO (65C) are extremely high. Maximum gaming temperatures are in the range of 75-80 degrees Fahrenheit. 76C. I tried reapplying thermal paste and other things, but I'm hoping it wasn't damaged in transit by Amazon. Amazon chose to send it from Seattle to New York in a soft pack. The CPU was hanging out of the box, which had been completely destroyed. Why would a $600 item be shipped in a soft pack? There has been no response from Amazon, and I'd like a replacement because I'm concerned that something will break down in the future.

It's so hot that I don't think I'll be able to get one because they're all sold out.

Gigabyte X570 Ultra Rev 1
5/5

5900X with Gigabyte X570 Ultra Rev 1. So far, this is significantly faster than my 3900x, allowing me to run my memory at 3800/1900 FCLK. My 3900x silicone lottery ran at 3600/1800 FCLK and wouldn't go any faster. br>br>When using PBO 200, a couple of cores increase to 5. Others, such as 05ghz, have reached 4 GHz. The telephone number is 9750. 950ghz. Curve optimizer is something I haven't tried yet, but I've seen a lot of people using it and getting good results. br>br>Temperature is similar to 3900x, which I usually hit between 50 and 60 degrees. When gaming, keep the temperature at 55 degrees. I'm a noctua nh-runner. u12a in a blackout case with a fractal design. br>br>Creative+ paraphrase: I can boot in at 4000/2000 FCLK with the newer beta bios, but I get whea errors every now and then.

AMD keeps hitting home runs
5/5

Incredible performance gains over previous generations, excellent power efficiency compared to Intel equivalent CPUs, and backwards compatibility with older sockets.

I work from home and keep a lot of programs and tabs open on multiple monitors all the time. This upgrade will make my life a whole lot easier. br>br>It's also a good excuse to upgrade my gaming setup.

This is, without a doubt, the best CPU money can buy right now
5/5

Without rehashing all of the existing reviews, all of the Zen 3 AMD CPUs outperform Intel's 10th Gen in EVERY SINGLE METRIC. They run much faster, whether single-threaded or multithreaded, and use much less power. br>br>However, of the four Zen 3 CPUs currently available, the 5900X offers the best value for money in terms of price per core. Despite the 5950X's significantly lower supply, this CPU is the most in demand and the most difficult to obtain of the four.

Simply amazing; however, getting your hands on one is proving to be difficult at the moment
5/5

That is incredible. There are a total of 12 cores, each of which is capable of achieving incredible speeds. AMD has completed the task at hand.
