Will thermal paste be included?

It does, but I'd use it with caution. I just removed my cooler to replace it with a water cooler, and the thermal paste had turned into glue, ripping the CPU out of the socket and bending a few pins.

Is the 2700X wraith prism cool enough to play games and browse the web?

Yes, as others have said. Using the 2700x for encodes is quick but not happy with stock Wraith cooler temps with all cores at 100%. The CPU is set to 95 percent. 85 degrees Celsius (Tctl) or 1 degree Celsius (Tctl). The stock fan has a downflow, so the MB, RAM, and 970 Evo were cooking right beneath the Wraith cooler, which was set to 1C (Tdie). Only for encodes did I replace the fan, so your mileage may vary.

How do you use the internal USB connector to control the leds?

Msi's mother board driver was what I used. There's an option to change the color and effect in their control center, and I'm sure there's a driver for whatever mother board you have.

Could you please check if the 2700x loses frames when playing back at full resolution in an Adobe 4k timeline? The previous ryzen gen did, according to what I've read. ?

It should work fine as long as your BIOS and drivers are up to date.

This was purchased as part of a component upgrade, with the intention of turning my PC into a space heater for my dorm (just in time for winter). Unfortunately, the included cooler is so good that I can now chill beers on top of my case. 0/10 I'd never buy something like this again.

I recently upgraded from a 1700X to a 2700X processor. The 2700X clock speeds (4Ghz) are 500Mhz faster than my 1700X (3. 0GHz) under full load with stock clocks. 5Ghz). Using four 8GB DDR4 modules, the DDR4 memory speed was boosted from 2933 to 3200Mhz. Both of these enhancements convinced me that the upgrade was worthwhile. My old system could still handle gaming and processing, but I always noticed that my CPU was using 20 to 30% of its power when it was idle. Its resources amount to0 of its total resources This chip easily destroys anything I throw at it and does so without breaking a sweat. This chip is excellent for gaming as well as other multitasking tasks. You can't go wrong if you enjoy gaming while also doing other things such as streaming your games, video editing, or other work-related solutions.

Check this out if your system failed to post! So this is my first Ryzen 2700X build, as well as my first 8-core CPU

Intel deserves no credit for keeping their 8-core CPUs out of reach of the general public by charging exorbitant prices. br>Previously, I had an i5 6600K @4GHz system. 7GHz, this is an excellent gaming build. Regardless, the monitor did not show anything after I assembled the system and turned it on for the first time. All of the fancy LED lights and fans were on, and the system was powered up. So I switched my RAMs from A1 to A2 and B2 (A1 to B1). The system then boosted perfectly, which led me to believe that the most recent BIOS update would solve the problem. However, even after the most recent BIOS update, the system will not boot if the RAMs are installed in slots A1 and B1. You may want to remove the battery, disconnect the power cord, and reset the CMOS by sorting the two pins after moving the Ram sticks to A2B2. br>Coming from an Intel platform, I must say that the BIOS on Ryzen is a little different. I only needed to change vcore for CPU voltage on the Skylake. However, it appears that there is a second voltage to watch out for in Ryzen: the SoC voltage. My voltage was set to 1 by hand. 375, but HWinfo reports that the maximum it reached was 1. I'm guessing I'll have to do some more tinkering with the voltage. br>I'm running an old Crucial 2400Mhz cl16 Ram that I purchased when Intel Skylake was first released. With the Intel system, I was able to OC it to 2700Mhz, but not with the Ryzen; it simply wouldn't post; hopefully, as RAM prices drop, I'll be able to upgrade to 3200mh c14 RAM later. br>After installing the drivers, I noticed that Windows Update was running in the background and decided to try out AC Origins on this system. After about 5 minutes of gaming, I noticed that all fans, including the CPU fan, had stopped spinning for some reason. As a result, the CPU temperature had risen to well over 90 degrees, so I turned it off and waited for it to cool. I retested the game after completely updating Windows, and it worked perfectly! br>I'm going to download Adobe apps and will provide more information as soon as possible. br>One of the most vexing problems I've encountered is with the Asus AI suite, which is CPU-intensive. The vcore and CPU speed readings in Z and HWinfo are vastly different. As a result, I'm unsure which is correct. Ryzen master is still on my to-do list. Oh, and I'm currently using the stock cooler that came with the 2700X, with idle temperatures of 43 degrees Celsius and ambient temperatures of around 24 degrees Celsius. I'll have to make do with this cooler until I get the AM4 mounts for my NH-100. D15. Thank you, AMD! br> br>br>UPDATE NUMBER 23- May- 2018: br>I just received the mounting kit for my Noctua NH-100. D15, and my system now runs at 30 degrees Celsius while being overclocked to 4. At a frequency of 22 GHz, there are a total of one hundred and twenty In BIOS, set the voltage to 4 volts! In comparison to the stock cooler, there is a lot of thermal headroom. It peaks at 60 degress when all cores are stressed to 100%! It gets into the 80s with the stock cooler and no overclocking. br>br>THE 29TH UPDATE- May- OVERCLOCKING FOR THE YEAR OF 2018: br>When I first received the CPU, I discovered that 1. I got a rock solid 4 with 425v in BIOS and LLC set to Auto. 2Ghz OC. However, I continued to notice odd vcore changes. The vcore hovers around 1 when the computer is idle. 4v to1. 412v. However, when I put the CPU to work on a demanding task, the vcore drops to around 1. 362v! That was odd: less vcore when under stress and more vcore when not. lolbr>So, after a few tests, I went into BIOS and manually set my vcore to 1. 387v and LLC to 5 and now the system is always at this vcore even when stressed to 100% and even while in idle ! NICE. I discovered that LLC5 was required to keep my vcore in place. The vcore drops from 1 to 0 when the LLC is set to 4. 387 volts to one When Prime95 is under stress, it spikes to 362 volts and crashes. It's still 1 with LLC5. I didn't even have to raise the vcore when stressed with Prime95, reaching 387v! br>In conclusion, do not set the vcore and LLC to Auto. Please set your LLC as well when you OC.
