It is 1/2. You have 1 optical/SPDIF output from digital! As my current video card with HDMI output was only able to handle two channel audio, I wanted to upgrade to this card. Looking for sound cards was my first step. Because the small form factor case I am using only has low profile slots, I am limited. This is how I found out about it. The description of the product and nowhere on the website stated that there is no 5 in the series. It is 1/07. It can be connected to 1 digital output. I cannot comprehend what is going on! What would be the point of refusing to allow the multi channel out through the digital outputs? Why would you not make it clear that the multi channel can only come out of the analog output? I am unsure of the sound quality of this device since I've not spent much time with it other than trying to figure out the multi channel output. As it approaches my trash can, it is getting closer to bursting.
