Do the headsets (microphone) work with this system, or do they have to be used with headphones only?

My iPad is connected to my Millso 3 can it be used? What is the best way to hook up my receiver to my 5mm to USB jack audio?

*br>Thank you for asking this question, dear Customer. *br>No, it's not. You cannot transmit music over the USB port of your receiver because it is designated for USB flash drives rather than The receiver should have RCA input audio jacks. If it does, I recommend using a 3 way audio connection. It might be helpful to buy an adapter that goes from 5mm to RCA. I get extremely weak sound when I use Have you experienced this before or do you have a solution? Are there any drivers other than generic ones for Windows 10?

Make sure you have inserted the male plug all the way, because I had to bend over to insert the last 1/8 inch in If you are using a speaker or headset without connecting the Millso, see if the sound is better without the millso. Check the various software volume settings to see if any are low or muted if the sound is still low.

There is a statement in the description that says it's not meant to be an input port but rather an output port. If it doesn't work with a microphone as input, does that mean it can't work with a mic?

Currently, I am using this with my Rode mic, and it works perfectly!

The audio output is perfect, but the audio input is not the best
3/5

Generally speaking, I think this is a great little package for people that will be working from home, but there is quite a noticeable hiss or noise floor when listening to recorded a video to compare the noise produced by my cell phone when a headset is connected to a USB audio adapter with the noise produced by the headset when it is unplugged. Due to this, I could not recommend it as an interface to handle something like twitch streaming, but if you just work from home, it should work just fine!.

It does exactly what I need it to do
5/5

It will be useful to listen to music on my computer with headphones when I need to. It is not convenient to connect the headphones to the port on my desktop speakers which works fine but is not as convenient as this device. I wanted an easy way to switch from my desktop speakers to headphones by using the sound setting on the task bar - and now I have it The headphones stay plugged into the bar, so I won't have to plug or unplug them frequently. My whole reason for making the change is that I am lazy, so I want to do it while I am sitting down with my feet on the desk and me typing. I had a question about whether it worked that way after reading the description, so I asked someone on the product's forum and they confirmed it does Thanks for the kind words, which it is. Using the task bar sounds icon, I can now switch the output device using it. It should show up in the sound settings as a device which can be renamed to "headphones. " In terms of sound quality, it seems to be the same regardless of whether the headphones are plugged into the jack on the speakers, directly into the output jack on the motherboard, or into In addition, it appears to be a well-made piece of equipment. The longer cord does not have a braid like the shorter one, but it is made of quality, soft, and flexible material. Because I had extra cord length, I could wrap one end of the cable around the base of one monitor stand so that it is always at hand. My experience with this purchase was very positive, and I do not hesitate to recommend it to anyone who plans on using it in the way I have described above.

Regardless of what the icon on the 3 says, trust it not
3/5

Plug an adapter into a 5mm port. It shows an icon of a headset and a microphone, as you can see in the image. This item cannot be used with a microphone, however. If I had read the small print, I probably would have known that. That icon is quite deceptive. It's useless for me, as I was looking for an adapter that can accept input as well as output.

The one I received had a fatal flaw in that outgoing audio would echo to the input, and the mic preamp was very noisy

The issue was resolved 2021/03/20
A representative from Millso reached out to me to try to solve it. have since mailed me a replacement adapter, but as yet I have not been able to determine whether it suffers from It is admirable of them that they tried to solve the problem. Support has been added to the review, and I will update my review once I have the chance to test * * *- Review of the original - It is desired to find an adapter that allows TRRS headsets with microphones to be used with Windows systems. This equipment was purchased under the assumption that it would operate like it would be expected. The Zoom, Skype, and WebEx conferencing headset has an integrated microphone that can be used to hear everyone on the call and speak back An inexpensive line microphone. works, the incoming caller audio will be sent out to everyone on the call due to an annoying echo effect, which occur when the incoming audio should be sent only to your ears is re-directed back into the input channel. Due to the way my system works, other people's audio is sent back over the call when they speak. A small canyon kind of feels like it's there. I would estimate that the echo is 100-150 This is happening multiple times, and the call audio I generated then comes back and then goes out again, with each time being 100ms in its delay. It is extremely irritating. Although I did not have headphones plugged in, it still echoes the incoming audio destined for headphones back into the "mic" input when I removed them from the equation. The device continues to operate despite being disconnected from the headphones. Several software applications displayed the same problem to me. My next step was to load up Ableton (a DAW) and add overdubs. As you listen to the sealed audio- An inline microphone is attached to the earphones. In my in-ear recording, Ableton produced an accurate copy of what I was hearing an audible copy of what I heard from the mic A ear. There was an incident involving I heard it in the background clearly, even though it was about 20db lower than full. I was not hearing sound that was carried from my earphone back into the microphone. Audio from the adapter was being captured at full bandwidth and inserted back into the session in some way. Despite being disconnected from the headphones, it managed to do this. It was resolved by setting the audio output on the computer to something other than this adapter, but then that defeats the purpose of having a headset mic and headphone adapter in the first place. The mic preamp is also extremely noisy on top of all of this. Even a usb plug sized device should have a decent mic preamp is a lot to ask. I can't believe how small it is. The sound quality of the adapter is acceptable as a headphone adapter, so 2 stars. The product will not work for what I need it to do, so I'm returning it.

There is no proper seating for the female jack on the headphone jack
3/5

My excitement over this product was sparked by the fact that it would have been perfectly suited to my needs. Unfortunately not. The connection from your or mine headphones when plugged into the female 3 jack is not secure. It is very hard to get the millso plug to work properly most of the time. It is fine if you get it seated properly but moving it just a couple of millimeters will make it unreliable. As a result, I discounted some of the reviews prior to purchasing. Two issues arise. The first is the level of the sound and the second It is a result of a poor connection in both cases. I believe the jack would be great if they could make it work properly. When I connected my headset, the sound was good and there was no static, but I never had luck with it lasting long. In my previous statement, I stated that any movement would degrade or completely break the connection. So, I can not recommend this product. I can only ask that you do not purchase it.
