It is a pretty cool light out of the box, but when you plug it in and go through the settings, the light remains stuck on one color, the buttons don't work, and you have to unplug the wall outlet and plug it back up. The actual brightness can only be used up to about 1/3 of its capacity before the display turns If you use the light as they send it to you out of the box, you're going to have a lot of problems. It was necessary to use a 12v powered USB hub in order for the light to work A regular USB wall plug (like the one that charges your cell phone) will not work with this light. Powered USB hubs work well with this, but if you do not have one, then it may not work. It's a shame that light is so dim.
