You're aware of what I'm referring to), as well as tools! I'd disregard the negative reviews that claimed they were low-cost tools. If you're like me and only need to replace your screen once, these are perfect! The instructions that came with them were a bit of a pain to follow. > Sorry for any inconvenience this has caused. So I went to Google and found IFIXITS' instructions, which worked perfectly! br>Here are some of the highlights I discovered while repairing my screen:br>- They contained every tool I discovered to be necessary. Everything, with the exception of a blow dryer, hahabr>- Everything came with a protective seal, which I thought was a nice touch. br>- It only took an hour or an hour and a half to complete!
- a screen protector was includedbr>- This kit includes everything you'll need to repair a standard LCD display. Don't be concerned, and don't waste your time googling and worrying that this kit lacks it. it does!
- The tools are magneticbr>Are there any negative highlights?
- You have to bend the speaker parts because the location where you put the speaker majig is a little crooked. Which I'm sure isn't good for my phone. br>- The water seal was a little on the cheap side (which is to be expected, and I'm not complaining!). ) but if you want to upgrade to a better seal. buy a sparebr>How about some of the blunders I made while replacing my screen? (Hopefully, I'll be able to save you from them)br>- THE BLUESTUFF ON THE SCREEN MUST BE REMOVED. I was so slow because I assumed it was supposed to be there.
- This is a little sketchy, and if you want to keep your tools, don't do it. The screw driver that wasn't shaped like a Y, on the other hand, worked on both the Y-shaped and non-Y-shaped screws. Now I'm not sure if this stripped the screws (they didn't appear to be stripped when I checked!). )br>I HOPE THIS WAS OF USE:.
My phone's screen was cracked, so I ordered this. Changing the screen took me about 2 hours. The tools that came with the package were abysmal. I had to devise a new method for removing the tiny screws that held the back plate in place. The screen protector that came with the package was extremely thin. My phone's screen is now blacked out on occasion. Because the connections are secure, I believe the problem is with the screen. There was no tape or other way to keep the box closed when it arrived. I'm guessing the screen shook and was damaged along the way. The price is a little high, but it works when the screen isn't flashing on and off. Backplate should be included.
This seller has provided me with two replacement screens. The first one would randomly glitch out and press all over the screen, opening apps, making phone calls, and so on without me touching it. This second screen worked fine for a few weeks before abruptly ceasing to function. (Both screens were replaced by a professional) The screen appears to be in good working order, with the exception that my touch does not work. Even when the screen was in good working order, it would unlock and open apps in my pocket, so keep that in mind if you decide to buy one. To get around the problem, I had to start flipping my phone backwards in my pocket. The seller has been very accommodating in terms of replacements; however, the product itself is defective. I'm going to come back and try another option.
I needed a replacement for my cracked screen. I decided to give this a try after learning that the cost of a local cellphone repair shop was over $140 dollars. If it fails, I'll have to hire a technician, but the video appeared to be fairly straightforward. br>br>I opened the box and found all of the parts inside; the screen has a nice color to it and looks just like the one I had before it cracked. br>br>I liked how the screen protector was included, as well as the frame adhesive. The backplate was attached, making the process even easier. The ribbon and tiny screws were the most difficult part of removing the front-facing camera. This would be nearly impossible if it weren't for the magnetic tools included. br>br>The only thing I wish for is a label on the tools to indicate which is the star, Y, and which is the other screwdriver that was included, but that is just a wish; it has no bearing on the job being completed.
br>Apart from removing the original screen, which was a pain and required a lot of heat and force, the repair was relatively simple; in fact, once I had the screen off, my 16-year-old daughter did the rest of the work, including installing the seal and putting the phone back together (after testing everything was in working order). br>br>I suppose the only drawback I can think of is the screwdrivers, which were trashed after the repair, but you'd get a new set if you had to do another screen, so it's not a big deal. Oh, and it came with a cheapo screen protector, which isn't great but will suffice until I can get a replacement.
Everything you need is included, including new sealant to replace the sealant that was disrupted when the old screen was removed. I was unsure about all of the options, but this screen is an exact OEM quality replacement that even includes the frame, saving you a lot of time and effort. Every tool you'll need is included, as well as extra adhesive to reseal the screen. Simply watch a YouTube video, disassemble the old smashed screen, and replace it with this, and your phone will be as good as new. True Tone is lost, but if you really want to avoid it, there's another product you can buy for around $120. To be clear, I don't mean to offend anyone. Any screen replacement, including Apple OEM genuine original equipment, will result in the loss of TrueTone. It's apparently just the way the phones are set up. You won't be able to find a better screen for the price, so don't go overboard. This is one you should buy. 5 Star - highly suggested.
