This worked perfectly and saved me a lot of money in the process of repairing my daughter's cracked screen. It would cost well over $200 to repair an iPhone using genuine Apple parts. This only set you back $55. I recommend that you have some experience with this type of thing; otherwise, it might not work as well as it should. However, that would be a human error rather than a flaw in the product. Because the screws on the iPhone are so small, you'll need a magnifying glass, which isn't included (screw holes aren't visible to the naked eye).

Furthermore, the seller easily approved a return for a refund, so I'm only writing this review to save others the aggravation if they have the same issue. I couldn't get any of the smallest screws out with the screwdriver that came with the kit when I tried to take out the original screen. I assumed I was doing something incorrectly until I realized the screwdriver only had a point at the end and was not engaging the screw head. I ordered a new iPhone tool kit and used the screw driver that came with it to remove all of the screws without difficulty. I'm not sure if all of the replacement kits come with defective screwdrivers, but if you're having trouble removing the screws, don't keep trying because the problem is most likely with the tool, not with you.

It appears that the product is defective or that we received a dud this time. br>br>I bought this twice, the first time it worked great and was perfect, and the second time it appears to have a broken digitizer or something because it won't light up or show anything, despite the fact that the phone receives alerts and makes noises. br>br>Now I have to wait for a return to be approved before ordering a replacement.

The first time I got this screen, everything was fine and there were no issues. Second, my face id doesn't always work and has a tendency to freak out. As if someone were simply going insane on the lower half of your screen. It's annoying, but it goes away quickly when you put it to sleep. For some reason, it's back to normal.

The screen has excellent color resolution and is not opaque like some others, but it was defective. Based on my experience, it appears to be a blow to the top; however, since it is sent by Amazon, I recommend that it be packed in a box rather than an envelope to ensure that it arrives in better condition.

I only got this screen yesterday and installed it. The touch screen and haptics have all worked fine so far, and the display quality is excellent. However, because the TrueDepth camera is blocked by the screen, facial recognition is no longer possible. This isn't a big deal because I don't use it often, but I find it difficult to call a product truly compatible when it disables some of the original features in order to function. The instructions for setup and disassembly were also lacking. Because the video included in the item description wasn't very helpful, I had to go to YouTube to find one.
