The frame doesn't fit perfectly, yes it's better than having a cracked back, but there's a big gap between the edges and the frame, meaning the opening is too small, allowing dust, dirt and WATER to get in! Also, there was a small piece of rubber missing. In the last image, it is circled.
It's ridiculous that I invested almost $1000 on this phone, and now I have to heat it up and take it apart? This is a product I would buy After I cut through the tailgate of a truck, I completely shattered my OE back glass. As I was shopping for replacement parts, I was attracted to this one since it was clear and only $20 so I thought I would try it. As long as you have the right tools to work with, this back glass is an excellent deal. I had a hard time removing the old glass, but I was able to install the new glass without much difficulty. It was a bit off in terms of mounting, and the phone frame showed through a small gap in the corner. Since it is much cheaper and easier to have the repair done at a Samsung repair shop, I am not opposed to it. In fact, you may want to find a different product if you're going to be OCD about it. The quality feels similar to the original back glass and the phone feels sturdy with it. As far as the adhesive is concerned, it is very good and does not leave any residue. Color is awesome. I like it so much. There is some blue tint to it and it is not 100% clear but it looks amazing and I can see everything inside the phone so that is.
