Removing the old glass is the most challenging part of the entire process since it is very time consuming and even one tiny piece left behind won't affect how the replacement glass sits. As long as the glass fits completely flush with the camera, it can be applied without much difficulty—1 layer of glue around the edge is plenty for the new piece to adhere. Two reasons 1. they cannot hold a piece of glass in place and 2. they have no grip on the glass. I found it to be far less sticky than what In order to make the backing sturdy, I came back and bought glue to hold it down. In general, the process is very time consuming, however, I found that everywhere around me quoted a fix for $200+ so I did the work.

I like the way it looks. There is a mark on it, and it comes with a good tool to remove the I melted my display because I wasn't careful, but that's my fault for not being more careful. I had a very difficult time installing it, but it's nothing the product couldn't handle. I also burned my hand. Here are some tips It's not a good idea to use too much heat when taking off the glass from around the camera, because your display may burn like mine did. I was getting a free replacement for the screen anyways, so if you're doing that, you should also change the back glass.
