I received it yesterday, and it appears to be in excellent working condition. I was able to purchase one for home and one for work for less than half the price of the Samsung version. On the bottom of the device is a small status light that flashes blue when it is receiving power and green when it is charging. After a few seconds, the blue status light will turn off, and the green charging status will also turn off when your phone is fully charged. My Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge also has a clear case with a kickstand, and the charger works fine with it, charging in portrait or landscape mode, but not when the display is facing the charger. However, there are a few additional points to consider. There is no AC wall plug included with the unit. Only the charger and a USB cable are required. You can either use your current USB wall plug or purchase a new one. Fortunately, I had a few spares on hand, and my standing desk at work has a high-capacity USB port, so I should be fine. Be aware that if you use it in your bedroom, the display may still flash and the notification lights may flash. I used to just lay the display down and rely on the Samsung 7 edge notifications if I needed anything before I got this unit. To avoid a flashing light whenever I get a text or a Facebook notification, I now place a folded business card on top. I also turned off a couple of the notifications. While charging, the phone does become slightly warm, but this is barely noticeable.

In addition, Samsung chargers are exorbitantly priced, whereas this one is not. br>br>In conclusion, the charger's lack of true Fast Charge is a minor disappointment, but everything else about it is fantastic! It's worth noting that it doesn't come with a power adapter, and that cheap phone charger power adapters will significantly slow down charging.

BEWARE: My charger was in excellent condition. It didn't work for a while, but upon closer inspection, I discovered a melted, hot spot. I'm glad nothing caught fire, but this charger should be avoided!.

1/2/19 - New update The seller got in touch with me and sent me a free replacement unit. Though it had a different input/output power rating than the other two models, it appears to work fine. I'm curious as to how many models of this unit they have because I keep getting different ones. After all, I'm quite pleased with the outcome. old review: br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br> br>I ordered one of these chargers on July 16th to try because the USB port on my Samsung S7 was damaged and charging it was difficult. On July 19th, I ordered two more units because they seemed to work well. One is for my office, and the other is for my wife. The first order came in brown packaging, while the second order came in white packaging. Is this a new model or old stock? whatever. The white box model didn't work with my wife's Samsung S6, but the brown box model did, so I double-checked the input ratings for voltage/amps and discovered that the white/brown box models had two different outputs! Because I had less than $15 in each unit, I simply traded with my spouse and moved on. One of the white-box units has ceased to function as of December. The indicator lights alternate between blue and green and will not charge. As far as I can tell, you get what you pay for.

I was curious as to how this would work in her car: It performs admirably. The charger is tucked into a spot on the dash, and the USB cable from the supplies reaches the cigarette lighter. So far, everything has gone well. It's also compatible with her Otter case. She's using a Galaxy S phone to charge it. Edge.

I have an older phone (Moto X) and had to purchase a QI adapter to enable QI charging on my phone, which fits inside my already thick plastic case (with kickstand). Not only does this charge my phone through all of those barriers (I returned a different charger that couldn't), but it's also much easier to see your phone at a glance when it's propped up at this viewing angle, as opposed to the flat base station style QI chargers. The lighting is excellent. If you're trying to sleep, it should be well-placed, aesthetically pleasing, and not too distracting. I liked it so much that I bought two more, so now I have one for my work desk, home desk, and bedroom nightstand, and my phone is charged almost constantly without me even realizing it. This is an excellent product.
