Questions & Answers
I don't think the case will break easily because it's made of a strong flexible plastic that's difficult to bend. The case fits snugly on my phone and has raised edges around the screen and cameras, so it appears to protect my phone as promised.
A screen protector from Trudin was purchased. It is extremely slim and fits perfectly. It's so small on my phone that I can't tell it's there.
It's not too big. Slim. It will fit in the back pocket of your pants. Although you'll need a good tempered glass, I'd choose this case over the Defender every time.
The Symmetry Series with MagSafe is the full name, and it has an internal component that was designed specifically to work with Apple's new technology, which the standard Symmetry Series does not.
Selected User Reviews For OtterBox SYMMETRY SERIES Case for iPhone 12 Pro Max - ROCK CANDY (SCUBA BLUE/LAKE BLUE)
This case is fantastic; it's extremely tough and capable of withstanding a lot. There are two minor flaws that I discovered. Details can be found in my video.
This otterbox symmetry case for iPhone 12 pro max was just delivered to me today. On my iPhone 8 Plus, I have a two-year-old symmetry case, which is far more durable and well-made than this new case. I'm disappointed with the new case and will most likely return it because it doesn't appear to be adequate protection for my new iPhone 12 Pro Max.
There was no way we could get this case on my new iPhone 12 Pro Max despite much effort on both my husband's and my parts, as well as the use of a special little tool that came with an Otter box phone case for my old phone. It was like attempting to place the glass slipper on one of the evil step sisters. In addition, there were no instructions included with this product. If we had been successful in turning it on, I'm afraid the phone would have been damaged. After that, if we were successful, God help us if we had to remove it! In addition, I believe the price of this case is excessive.
Because of my previous Symmetry experience, I avoided the obvious cases. The previous clear Symmetry case I had for my previous phone, an XS Max, tended to yellow quickly around the rubber edge, and despite Otterbox replacing it at no cost, the new one yellowed after a few months as well. The Mrs. bought a clear one for her 12 Pro, and it's starting to brown nicely, almost caramel in color. That has made her very unhappy. On my old phone, I switched to a black case and had no problems with color degradation, so I got a black case for the new phone. br>br>Like my other Symmetry series cases, this one fits over the 12 Pro Max like a second skin. It takes a little patience to put this one together, and it's a little more difficult to get on than the XS Max case. If you put one corner in first, then the corner at the other end of the same long side of the phone, and rotate that long side into place against the side of the case, it might help. Without a fight, the third corner was snapped into place. After gently flexing the CASE away from the phone and pushing the case toward the phone at that same corner, pressing on the case 2 cm or 3/4 inch inward from the outermost point of that last corner, the fourth corner finally went in. br>br>Where 5G is available, 5G reception works perfectly in this case.
It's been 5 months since I bought my first case. It was difficult to put it on my phone, but it becomes easier (at an angle) if you start with the volume button side. You shouldn't expect to be able to simply shove it in. There's a catch, though. Also, avoid slamming your face into the screen. Only a fool would do something like that and expect it not to be cracked. I have an iPhone 12 Pro Max, and it has kept my phone safe every time I've dropped it. I dropped it 4 feet on concrete the last time I did it. I assumed it had broken, but to my surprise, the case only had a small crack on one of the corners that did not go all the way through. Anyway, I've since purchased two more cases, both of which perfectly fit my phone. And by purchasing open/damaged repackaged ones, I only paid $11 for both. br>Here's to a happy customer!.
I was able to save my phone from a 6 foot drop onto hard tile flooring. It's worth twice as much. Otterbox cases are my favorites, and I've been using them for a long time. This case is a perfect fit for my iPhone 12 Pro Max, and all of the buttons are easy to reach. There is no need to be concerned because it has a lip around the camera and screen. It's simple to grip and secure the case. I've dropped my phone a few times and never had any issues. This case is excellent value for money. br>*I wear a back brace and carry my phone in it. After bouncing off the bathtub edge, I lifted the brace, and the phone fell from about 6 feet onto hard tile. I was terrified, but I removed it from the case and examined it. There isn't a scuff or a crack to be found! I was overjoyed that I chose this case over a less expensive option.
I was hesitant to purchase this because one reviewer stated that it was "extremely uncomfortable in the hand," but to be honest, I believe that is due to the phone's shape and size. I liked the iPhone 5's design and assumed I would like the 12 Pro Max's design as well, but I don't. The otterbox, on the other hand, makes it far more bearable to hold this phone (at least in my opinion). So far, my only complaint is that, unlike previous models, I had a little difficulty getting the phone into the case. Aside from that, it appears to be as dependable as previous models I've owned.
A good slim case for research. I was concerned that it would be less soft than my previous defender (less impact softening?). ), but I'm satisfied with my life overall. It's stiff, but I didn't have any trouble putting it on and taking it off as needed. Simply place the buttons first; unlike the Defender, you'll need a separate glass cover, but the overall result is much slimmer, which is even more important when you get a larger phone.
