It is true. Having a Chevy Tahoe, the speaker wire that came with the kit was enough for the two speakers up front and one speaker at the rear. I had to run more speaker wire for the last speaker at the back. Under the back bench seat is where my amp is located. Aside from that, none of the other things are relevant to me.
Your interconnects run an audio signal from the RCA inputs of your amplifier to the RCA outputs of your head unit. There are now many head products that have RCA outputs for the front, back, and subwoofers. Each set of signals you want to send to your amplifier will require their own set of interconnects. There is only one set of cables in this wire kit. If you don't need it, you'll end up getting your car half apart and unable to complete the project. So, figure out your signal path ahead of time to ensure you have enough before you start the work.
When it comes to amps up to 400 watts RMS, I only use 8 gauge wire.

It is a wiring kit I installed Kits like this one are good value for the money. In the past I've used Stinger and never had any problems. I love the fact that it contains everything I need. There will be plenty of wire, so you will not run out.
Using the provided speaker cable, I was able to hook up 2 out of 4 speakers. Before you begin, though, ensure that you have all that you need.
Make sure you don't cheap out on the wires!.
The wires seem to be of really good quality. Only things that concerned me were the ground wire and how long it should be. This would be a good recommendation.
We offer quality kits at a lower price than anywhere else.
I am super impressed with the overall quality. Even the heat in the engine bay was protected by the power wire. I would recommend this product to my friends and purchase it.
