This package includes: I had to buy a stand-off battery connection because the 8 gauge provided material for an amplifier turn-up. My amp is on the side, and you'll still need speaker wire to connect it to your speaker.
I can't give you an exact length because that kit had been in use for quite some time, but it easily covered the length of my 2005 Mazda6, with some excess that I had to clip.

I purchased this kit out of convenience, assuming that getting a good quality kit to install the amp would be quicker and easier. A one-time bonus was also included as an added incentive. As a result of using this kit, I was able to get a year added to the warranty on my amplifier. I didn't have any issues with the wire quality, and the fuse holder worked perfectly. The wire connectors didn't appear to be of high quality, and the zip-lock bag was a disappointment. I installed the amp in the back of a Dodge Durango, and despite careful wiring, the wires fell about 5' short of connecting to the head unit, and nowhere near connecting to the battery. I needed to go to the store and purchase 4 gauge wire, RCA extensions, and wire for the remote amp turn on. Given the additional cost, I could have simply gone to the store and purchased what I required for less money in the first place. If you connect your battery to your amplifier via a headphone jack, you'll be fine. If the distance between the unit and the amp is less than, say, 10', you should be fine.
I am a Ph. D. holder. I have a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, and I would never conduct electricity with aluminum wire. Aluminum wire is a poor conductor, and many homes have burned down as a result of it. How much money could RF have saved by using aluminum for this short wire? This worked perfectly for connecting a single crossover, amplifier, and subwoofer. All of the wires/cables were more than long enough, and this is true 8 gauge COPPER wire. I had planned to use 4 AWG power cable, but my RF Punch amp only accepts 8 AWG, and I didn't want to use a distribution block. It'll be more than capable of handling the load that my amplifier demands. I've had it all up and running for a few months now with no problems.
If I had a straight shot, it would have worked, but I didn't. I had to go through the firewall on the drivers' side. To get the extra 3 feet I needed, I used the majority of the ground wire. I had to solder the wires together and use a house wire nut to connect it to the subwoofer harness because the kit didn't come with any 12GA connectors. Crimp connectors for blue/white wire were included, so it's odd that no 12GA connectors were included. I would have expected a lot more wire and connectors for this much money.
This is a fantastic set of materials. It comes with everything I'll need to connect my powered bazooka tube to it. I threw in a 6-pointer for good measure. Because it still has enough capacity to add aux outlets or another bazooka tube in the future, it's a three-way distribution block. I had no trouble routing the wire through the chassis nooks and crannies because it is extremely soft and flexible. To eliminate noise, remember to run your RCA cables in the opposite direction as your power cables. I learned this the hard way 35 years ago with my first car.
I needed an amp wire kit because I bought a Rockford Fosgate 12 inch powered subwoofer, so I decided to try this. Everything in the box seemed to be of good quality, and I had everything I needed. This was the perfect complement to my Rockford sub. I wish the price was a little lower because I think it's a little too high, but I got it on sale, so I'm happy with it. So far, all of the cables and wires have performed admirably.
This kit was used to install a 12" Rockford Fosgate subwoofer with built-in amplifier in my 2004 Ford Explorer. Wire is of excellent quality and has a lot of flexibility. This kit came with everything I needed. For a long time, I've relied on Rockford Fosgate products, and they've never let me down.
I purchased a Rockford amp kit about 15 years ago, and it was well built; it's nice to see that the quality hasn't deteriorated in 2018. I have complete confidence in the RF kit, whereas some of the cheaper brands have had issues; this is electrical wiring, after all, and it is not something to skimp on! It would be nice if the ground wire (in this and other kits) was a little longer, but I knew what I was getting.
